6 Tips about Marketing Your Own Product on the Internet

by Ryan Parker

In this article I will try help the newbie Internet Marketer by revealing 6 important tips to making a successful product and selling it successfully on the internet.

1. Find your Niche You cant write a general product about things generally. It might seem obvious but most people go into making a product before actually doing some research on the market that they want to enter. You need to know if the product will sell and that involves looking at what your potential customer needs, how he feels and where he is hurting. This brings us to the next part;

2. Find out what your customers main problems are The trick is that people with problems are almost always too eager to find a solution fast. This makes the best spontaneous buyer that would almost be too happy to depart with his/her money if you provide just a promise that you will solve the problem for them with your product, of coz you must deliver what your promise!

3. Get experts to work for you There is a huge market of programmers or designers on the internet that are more than happy to help you in the development of your product. You can use a site like Rentacoder, Guru, or Elance to find a talented programmer. Additionally, you can search forums for programmers. In many cases, you can get a high-quality program that fits your specifications for as little as $100.

4. Marketing your product There are an enormous number of ways in which you can market your product both online and offline, however in this article Ill just look at marketing online since it is one of the cheapest ways and since your product is Internet based and will compliment the delivery of the product too. Generally, having your own website will be the best option. Make your website easy to understand with a good sales letter, offer good percentage cuts for your affiliates to market your product for you through Clickbank or Commission Junction.

5. Create "Bonuses", viral in nature. Most Internet based products should have some bonuses that come with the product when the client purchases it. There are two purposes to these bonuses, firstly its to make the buyer happy that he got a bargain with so many extras with the product. Secondly, these bonuses are very good viral marketing tools too. You can either release the publication for open distribution with many links back to your website or you can also get the buyer to re-sale your product in the Multi-Level-Marketing manner.

6. Brand and market yourself Some people like staying anonymous on the internet but to really succeed in selling your product, you must also sell yourself to be the expert in the products field. It may seem better to just make a persona to market certain products but to be blatantly straight, personas never come across as genuine and thus will have a negative impact on the product your are selling.

So, now armed with these tips, go out and make an effort to develop and sell your product, the internet is ripe for the picking!

Profit With Internet Marketing

by Ruth Brown

With some planning and initiative, almost anyone can earn a substantial profit with internet marketing. The best part is that it can be done all in the comfort of your own home. In fact, some very successful internet entrepreneurs work all day in their pajamas. How can that be? How can you get involved in this business? After reading this article, you too will know the tricks of the trade and the ins and outs of internet marketing.

The first step in becoming successful with internet marketing is to carefully decide on the product or service you will sell. Online auctions have become a very successful way to make money online. In fact, some people have found it to be so profitable that they were able to quit their day jobs to concentrate fully on their auctions. Internet based bookstores are also another effective way to make money online. Many of them allow a person to sell a used book online paying only a percentage to the bookstore. Some people see this as a business opportunity just as a man in Kansas City has done. People actually go to flea markets and garage sales and purchase books at very low prices. They then check the value of the book online, then re-sell it for a profit. At last count, this Kansas City man was earning an average of $200 to $500 per month with this simple process of internet marketing.

Information products offer a high level of profits for many people involved with internet marketing. By writing an ebook, you have the opportunity to sell it over and over again thousands of times without depleting the resource. If the ebook contains useful information required by many people for various reasons, they may be willing to pay top dollar for the pdf version online. Sometimes online shoppers who are in need of a specific book will be willing to pay up to $50 for an ebook, possibly from you. Once they make a purchase, you will have access to their email address. This can be very beneficial to you because you can include them on future private mailing lists.

By sending a newsletter to everyone on your mailing list, you are offering information about other products and services you have available and this is considered as back end selling. This will eventually increase your chances of making profits. By broadening your potential community of customers, you are also creating a new promotion possibility for yourself because each happy customer will tell a friend who will also tell a friend. After creating a following, a great idea would to be to write a sequel to your book, knowing that most on your mailing list will purchase it.

Another wise move would be for you to sell advertising to advertisers who want to have contact with people included on your mailing list. By doing something as simple as this, you are making yourself an author, a publisher and an advertising entrepreneur without ever leaving the comfort of your own home. This will of course, greatly increase your profit margin and lead you down the road to success.

The Human Factor

by Patricia Byrnes

How far has internet marketing gone computer?

Computers are a wonderful thing. We wouldnt be in space, or under the sea without them. We wouldnt be able to cure some of the fatal diseases that roam the planet.

Internet marketing has been greatly enhanced with computer software. Programs can now write articles, create sales pages, create squeeze pages, spin articles, spell check, submit the articles, create graphics, generate the html, and many many more things involved with internet marketing.

They are great companions to the human race. But they cannot and will not always be the best solution to an idea.

Picture a vending machine. No matter how fancy, or how many knobs they put onto those things, they never seem to work. Getting a Three Musketeers instead of a Twix always makes me mad. It can even change the day from good to bad. At a convenience store, the clerk never gets it wrong, but if they did they could readily fix it.

Internet marketing is a numbers game, but in the end we are trying to sell to people, not droids. It would be wonderful to count on computers to give us that 5% conversion rate. People remember the original; they bond with emotions, something that computers can never give us.

Whether it is the domain name, the presale letter, the product name, the original graphics, the templates, or the product itself, creativity tends to get noticed. When something with a little zing has been added to mix a product will be more successful.

So remember the next time you start a new campaign, leave a little room for the extraordinary. You will be glad you did.

Internet Marketing: How To Beat The Crowd of Losers By Going Unconventional

by Wyatt Lee

To all those who prefer to stick with conventional Internet marketing strategies, you can stop reading now, because the rest of this article is totally irrelevant to you.

Still interested? Okay, read on then.

When it comes to conventional Internet marketing strategies, we have the same old boring stuffs like search engine optimization, email marketing, article marketing, creating your own e-zines, and etc and etc. These are the same old Internet marketing techniques that every Tom, Dick, Harry and their dogs have been using till this day.

So do they work at all? Sure, they all do. But the problem is that these techniques are used so often by Internet marketing wannabes that they are now less effective than before. Take article marketing for example. There are just so many articles floating on the Internet right now, and you would need to write a really compelling article in order for you to stand out from the massive crowd.

So, my friend, how do you stand out from the crowd of losers? Yes, I refer people who only follow what the others are doing as poor losers, because they cannot be bothered to try something different.

In order to distinguish yourself from the rest, you must be willing to try something different, and that is where the unconventional methods come into play. So what are the unconventional Internet marketing techniques that can make you stand out from the crowd, and give your online business tons of increased exposure?

Set up your own business blog

Blogs need no introduction here. Literally millions of blogs are created every single day, so if you are still not into blogging, then you had better get your butt off that couch and start blogging!

As an online business owner, it is very important for you to be able to establish effective interconnectivity with your customers, and blogs allow you to do just that. Blogs have a feature where readers can leave their comments on a particular post, and their posts will be reflected in the blog almost instantly. This feature alone makes blogs an excellent Internet marketing strategy for your online business.

You can use your business blog in so many ways: communicate with your customers, post a review of your latest product, gather feedback from your previous release, use it as a customer service centre, etc. You are only limited to your own imagination!

And when the traffic to your business blog increases with more and more visitors, you can divert this valuable source of traffic to your product landing page, and this can potentially earn you even more sales in the process.

Make use of successful websites

If you cant beat them, then join them. There are some websites that are very hot on the Internet at the moment, and they are known as social bookmarking websites. The good thing about these websites is that they are free to join, therefore allowing you to gain some free exposure and publicity.

Social bookmarking websites like Del.icio.us and Digg basically allow you to post your favorite stories for other users to read. Other than stories, you can also tag your favorite websites, and then share your list of tagged websites with the rest of the members. And if other members find your website interesting, they will pass it on to other users, creating a viral effect in the process.

Of course, there are other ways in which you can make use of these websites. For example, instead of submitting other peoples stories, you can write your own articles, and then post them to these sites. Your latest post will appear right at the top of the listings, plus the massive traffic that these popular sites receive everyday will guarantee that your articles will be read. This is free publicity at its very best.

Social bookmarking websites are all the rage at the moment. Digg, for example, is consistently ranked in the top 100 of the Alexa rankings, so you would be a fool not to take advantage of them.

Social networking

More commonly known as dating sites, they have now evolved to become known as social networking sites. They can be excellent channels for the promotion of your online business, if used correctly.

Like Digg and Del.icio.us, these social networking sites are fast gaining immense popularity. Just look at MySpace, one of the hottest websites on the Internet at the moment. Ranked in the top 10 of the Alexa rankings, it receives tons of traffic every single day, and has millions of members. Another networking site that is worth a mention is Friendster.

So start networking today, gain lots of friends and then turn them into your paying customers.

These unconventional Internet marketing strategies are techniques which you will never learn from all those so-called marketing geniuses out there. So take advantage of them now, and give the gurus a kick in their butts with these innovative marketing methods.

Internet Marketing for Online Business - How to Judge Your Online Success

by Cliff Posey

Internet marketing for online business can be confusing, especially if you are not familiar with all of the aspects of website marketing. As a result, you may be wondering how to best judge the success of your online campaign. Heres the answer: follow-up.

A website marketing campaign is just like any other marketing campaign. Once it is over, the results need to be analyzed and measured. Follow-up is especially important when it comes to Internet marketing for online business. By tracking your results, you can determine which methods of website marketing were effective and which methods were not. You can then adjust your methods accordingly.

To begin, view your websites logs. These logs can help you determine where the traffic on your website came from. Most web hosting companies provide this service to their customers. If your web host does not allow you access to these logs, you may want to consider switching hosts. If that is not an option, you can purchase one of many software programs that are specifically designed to help you track and analyze your website marketing efforts. Results tracking is an essential part of Internet marketing for online business. Without it, you will have a very hard time figuring out exactly how effective your website marketing campaign is.

Comprehensive Internet marketing for online business is more than just launching a campaign. You must also take an active role in market research, strategy development, and campaign design. By carefully monitoring and measuring the results of your website marketing efforts, you can ensure that all of your hard work is not in vain. Effective Internet marketing for online business brings traffic to your website and then converts that traffic into paying customers. When you can accomplish this conversion on a regular basis, you will know that your website marketing strategy is truly a success.

If God had a website he would write articles

by F. Morris

I am convinced that if God had a website he would use articles to market his website. Article marketing is the best way to generate high quality traffic that converts. There are thousands of sites plastering the net that allow people to download artictles and put them on their site.

Who cares? What internet marketer would waste their time writing articles for free? Article marketing is probably one of the least understood, most affordable, and highly effective marketing strategy on the net. Submiting your article to a variety of different sites creates increased links to your sites, establishes you as an expert, and generates massive internet exposure.

The increased links to your site caused by your article submissions (which should have a link back to your site) will make google and other search engines rank your site higher. As you (slowly) build inbound links your traffic will increase and your site will generate a higher traffic ranking.

The best way to write articles is very similar to writing adcopy for your website. The articles have to be informative, catchy, and persuasive. The most important part of your article though is your headline. The headline catches everyones eye and makes people read the article. The content, however, is what makes people use the article on their website, thereby growing your links and increasing your scope of exposure.

Internet marketing through articles is a long process, but is the most beneficial way to get the traffic all sites desperately need.

Why Most People Never Succeed At Internet Marketing

by Gary Martin

It is so true.

Probably only five people out of a hundred who attempt to make a living at internet marketing, actually do

Can you guess why?

It takes too long.

In our modern society we want instant solutions. Instant attainment of our dreams and desires.

While this might work for buying a new car, where it can be bought with finance, achieving several thousand dollars a month with internet marketing is not so quick.

It takes time to build a business. And making money from the internet is a business.

You see, many people get discouraged. They see only a trickle of results from all their efforts and decide it is not worth it. That it is too hard.

I know. I have been there myself. You spend weeks looking at a few cents or dollars trickle in a day from adsense, or another income stream, and the amount barely increases each day, or even decreases, that it really is not difficult to understand why people just give up.

What you need to realise is, this effort has a cumulative effect, whereby after a certain period of time, it all begins to get easier.

Think of it like pushing a huge rock up a hill. Would you not think that was tough? Definitely.

However, when you finally reach the summit of the hill, and begin rolling the rock down the other side, the task of pushing the rock becomes so much easier.

It is the same principal with internet marketing. When you start out, the learning of it and getting momentum started in your business, takes a while.

Then after working hard for many months, it suddenly begins to get easier. The sad thing is, so many people never reach this point.

It is less difficult to work an hour for a paycheck, than work an hour now and get properly compensated for your efforts six months later.

But the rewards are so wonderful. To work when you want. To take holidays when you want.

You must keep your eyes on the internet marketing prize.

So few do long enough to reach it. But that does not mean you will not.

Each day you are working on your internet business, remember that eventually you can not help but succeed, as long as you never give up.

In the darkest of days, it must seems like true success will never come, and this is what separates those who make it and those who become mere casualties along the way.

I do not want this to happen to you.

Be strong and push through during the hard times.

It will be worth it in the end.

Internet Affiliate Marketing Program - Making Your Website Earn More

by Jeff Casmer

No man is an island. One cannot survive long enough if one decides to do everything alone. The same in the world of business, you have to learn to work with other businesses to stay ahead of the game. The more people working hand in hand in an endeavor the more likely the success will be. This is true especially in business.

In business, you have to have a wide customer base and this comes with successful advertising and marketing. With partnerships with other businesses you can reach a wider audience resulting to more sales generating more profit. That is simple common knowledge. This is a win-win situation; two or more businesses trying to help each other will provide more sales and can benefit all of those involved with the website. Running a successful business requires one to reach out. This is called affiliate marketing.

In a nutshell, an Internet affiliate marketing program is a promotion of another business through another business, which generates sales through the advertising of one business by the other. Affiliate marketing is now one of the most profitable and popular forms of traditional marketing on the Internet. If done right, this form of affiliate marketing could generate sales amounting to a lot of money.

An Internet affiliate marketing program relies on the amount of traffic each site gets. The more people that click on a link redirecting the visitor to an affiliate marketing partners website and results to a sale, the more commission a site owner gets and vice versa. Good Internet affiliate marketing program strategies and efforts should be done to have a visitor click the link. This could be done in a variety of methods.

One of the most popular ways is adding a link to a websites content or articles. People surfing the Internet are always on the lookout for more information. These are what good articles are all about. If your content or article entices a person about a certain product or service, having a link inside the content provides a way for the person to go to that link or site to purchase or avail of the service or product.

A good tip is to have that site open in a new window so that they wont leave your site right away. They could still browse on your site and purchase from you. The more people that buy from your affiliate partners that came from your site, the more commission you get from those sales.

Another method is down selling. After a customer or client has purchased from your site, you can sell an affiliate partners product on your site. In a checkout page, you can sell another product that can be complimentary to the product you have just sold. There would be a link that can take them to the affiliate marketing program partner where they can purchase the product or service.

That is why when doing an Internet affiliate marketing program, you should partner with other online businesses that provide a quite similar product or service. For example, if you sell cars, you can link up with an ecommerce site that sells car parts.

An Internet affiliate marketing program can greatly increase your financial gains. The more affiliate partners you have, the better the chances to increase your traffic and eventually your sales. Do not be overly competitive, working with affiliate partners promises to be more lucrative then being alone.

Making Money Online: What You Really Want To Know

By: Sopan Greene

So you've been thinking of doing some internet marketing or you've done some and you're not making money yet. What does it really take? Even more importantly, how long does it take and how much does it cost? Isn't that what you really want to know?

The problem with this question is that there isn't a black and white answer. It's not like you can spend $500 and you will definitely get a specific result. For some reason though that's how people think it works.

A lot of folks buy this or that "how to" product and think it's going to magically make them money. The key ingredient to making money from these products you buy is to take action and do what they tell you to do.

Just like buying a piece of excercise equipment won't make you lose weight, buying the greatest "how to make money on the internet" product won't make you money if you don't use it.

But if you buy proven products and do what they tell you, then it's simple to build a great business. It can happen for you though it probably won't happen overnight.

We all know the internet is full of hype and also has a lot of genuine success stories. The biggest truth or lie, depending on how you see it, is that you can make good money fast. Whether this is true or false depends on what you're willing to do and what you think "fast" is.

Internet marketing is not a get rich quick scheme. It's a business which means there is time, money and work involved. If you think becoming rich in 3 to 5 years is quick then I guess this can be a get rich vehicle for you. If you don't think 5 or even 10 years is quick for getting rich, then think about how many people you know who have done it in 5 years. Or in 20? Or in their lifetimes?

The only people I know who have done this have done it through internet marketing, direct marketing, network marketing or through owning their own company. None of them are just employees. The cheapest and fastest way to get there is through internet marketing.

FACT: 74% of the wealthiest people in America own their own business. If there's one thing they have that maybe you don't, it's their own business.

Even the internet marketing gurus will tell you that it's never been easier to make good money online. If you listen to the folks who are the biggest successes today most of them started at least 3 years ago. Some of them started back before the internet was called the internet. It was a lot rougher then. Even 3 years ago they didn't have the advantages we have today.

You can buy subscribers to build your ezine lists. You can use pay-per-click search engines. You can read hundreds of e-zines for great free tips. You can make money through free affiliate programs. You can swap for free ads that reach over 10,000 people at a time. You can make a lot of money from e-bay and online auctions. You have a lot more potential partners for joint ventures than they ever had.

Most importantly, you can buy "how to" products from the people who are internet marketing millionaires. You can follow their directions to get where they are. They had to make it up from scratch when times were harder and now you can do it faster with fewer mistakes.

So if you really want to make good money online what do you do? Research the big dogs. Do what's been proven to work. And treat your business like a business or you'll end up with an expensive hobby. If you're just kicking the tires to see what'll happen, nothing will. This is true with anything you do in life, not just internet marketing.

Internet marketing is a tremendous vehicle for making great money. Like any vehicle, it won't go down the road if you don't gas it up, turn the key and push on the accelerator.

How long it takes to get to the top of the hill at the end of the road depends on how much gas you put in, how hard you press the accelerator, how well you steer and how good your map is.

The first year you drove a car did you drive as well as you do now? No. You've gotten better with experience. So don't expect money to fall out of the sky the first year you do internet marketing. Can you make good money the first year? Sure. But it depends on how much work you do to pay your dues and get some experience.

Like driving a car, the longer you do it the better you get (which means the more money you make).

If you're a tire kicker I suggest you put your money in your pocket, walk away now and spend your time on something you love to do. If you're driven to build your own business I suggest you invest your time, energy and money into internet marketing. The payoff can be priceless. See you at the top of the hill at the end of the road.

Internet Marketing: 7 Killer Tools You Can Use On A Shoestring Budget Without Having a Website

by Dean Mercado

When most people think of Internet marketing, they think solely of websites. Are they right or wrong? Well both. While websites are a key component of Internet marketing and in many cases are the only Internet marketing tool businesses use, they are not the "be all, end all". They are not required for Internet marketing. However, I do highly recommend them as they are best suited to sit at the core of your Internet marketing plan, the hub so to speak, but thats a topic for another conversation.

So here are 7 killer Internet marketing tools that you can implement on a shoestring budget without having to have a website of your own: 1. Email Marketing - When properly implemented, there probably isnt a quicker, better, and less expensive way to stay in front of your prospects and clients than to leverage the power of email. You can literally touch an unlimited amount of prospects and clients with a single click - hows that for power?!

2. Blogs - Blogging is a great tool when you would like to step it up a notch and stay in constant contact with your prospects and clients. Some ideas on how to use it might be to post whats new with you or your business, post informative content as a value-add to your clients, or hold and interactive forum with your clients geared towards understanding how to better serve them.

There are a handful of free or low cost blog hosts out there that really make this process simple (e.g. Blogger and TypePad).

3. Article Marketing - This is a phenomenal approach to bringing notoriety, interest and ultimately leads for many types of businesses. It can be used as a major differentiator or value-add on why someone should buy from you instead of your competitors. Whether your clients are local, regional, national or global -- articles are portable and usable in all situations -- thats part of their charm.

4. eZines - Much like blogs and article marketing, eZines are great way to stay in touch with your prospects on a more scheduled basis. Additionally, they are probably the forerunner in helping you develop a list of prospects to market and sell your wares.

5. Affiliate Programs -- Get others promoting and selling for you. This tool can become the equivalent of having both a full blown marketing and sales staff that gets paid on performance. They dont promote and directly lead to a sale for you, they dont get paid. For the do-it-yourselfers, there are plenty of tools out there to help you set up this type of program. For everyone else, there are excellent service providers out there who can coordinate and manage this process for you (e.g. Clickbank and Commission Junction).

6. Viral Marketing - Again, a great approach for getting others to promote and help create a buzz about you, your business, your products and/or your services. The best, most genuine way to get this started is by creating raving fans out of your existing clients and then helping them help you spread the word.

7. Public Relations - If I tell you Im the best at what I do, youll take it with a grain of salt. Maybe youll believe me, maybe you wont. However, people tend to believe what they read. So if a respected publication tells you that Im the best at what I do, that usually holds more weight and adds instant credibility to me.

Spend some effort here. Become a resource for the press. You help them and they can significantly help you.

I highly recommend you spend some time with these. Explore how you can implement one, some, or all of these Internet marketing tools to help explode your business.

Keyword Perspective - Avoid This Mistake At All Cost

by Halstatt Pires

In this article, we are going to discuss a major problems involving keyword selection for existing businesses. It is a simple mistake, but one most people do not think about.

Keyword Perspective - Avoid This Mistake At All Cost

The two prime Internet marketing platforms are pay-per-click advertising and search engine optimization. The issue we are going to discuss today applies equally to either of these platforms as well as any other internet advertising you undertake.

The biggest mistake most businesses make with marketing is keyword perspective. Keyword perspective refers to the point of view one has when developing keywords for any type of Internet marketing. There are primarily two perspectives, but each only works with one audience. If you get them crossed up, you are in for a nightmare.

The industry perspective is usually the area where I see the biggest problems. Industry perspective refers to using industry terminology to develop keywords instead of using terms your prospects actually use. For example, a mortgage professional might view HELOC [home equity line of credit] as a keyword. Most prospects, however, are not going to search for this acronym. Instead, they will search for home equity line of credit or simply line of credit. When you are marketing to the general public, do not use industry terms. Instead, use the terms your prospects apply to your services or products.

The opposite of the industry perspective is found in the business-to- business field. If you are providing services or products to businesses, than you may very well want to use industry terms! If you sell medical equipment to hospitals, your prospects are going to be both sophisticated and using technical terms in their searches. They will search for medial collateral ligament isolation braces instead of knee brace. In the business-to-business scenario, use of laymens terms for keywords my kill your marketing plan before it gets off the ground.

Whatever your business, picking keywords is all about knowing your audience. Focus on terms your prospects actually use and you will have a good starting point for your marketing plan.

Internet Marketing Affiliate Program - What Do You Need To Succeed?

by Jeff Casmer

If you have selected a suitable affiliate program to join, and you are keen to start earning some affiliate commissions, you will need to know about the key factors to help you succeed.

So, what do you need to succeed with your internet marketing affiliate program?

· Dedication. The first thing you will need to succeed with your internet marketing affiliate program is commitment to work hard until you get the profits you want. For you to earn some commission, you will need to invest money, time and effort into the business.

· Patience. This is the hardest trait to have, yet it is the most important. You can not earn commissions overnight with your affiliate program, and you must be patient enough to keep on working consistently, even if you are not making any sales.

· Get your own website and domain name. Having your own website creates the perception that you are serious about your internet marketing affiliate program business, and you have long term commitment to it. A professional website and own domain name appear professional, and you will find it easy to make sales.

· Products, services or business opportunities that are of high quality and reputation. This is very important if you want to make some sales and earn some commission. Make sure that you choose an affiliate program that has products with high demand and easy to sell.

· A website that is well presented and will prompt any visitor to take action and buy! This is an obvious one, yet is sometimes neglected. For you to be successful with your internet marketing affiliate program, your website must clearly present what you are selling. You must make the presentation of your website such that you promote many sales, for example by placing complementary products close together. Use all the techniques you can think of to make help you make as many sales as possible.

· A useful website that makes visitors want to visit again. Although the main goal of your site is to make sales; you will also want your site to offer a few other things that will make visitors stay longer and come back again. You could offer some free tips and ideas relating to the products you are selling. The idea is to make any visitor want to bookmark your site. Or if they make a purchase the first time they visit; if they found some free helpful hints on your website, they will come back again for another purchase, creating good repeat business for you.

· Have a committed strategy for driving traffic to your web site. It is a very simple fact that more visitors to your site means more sales, which means more checks for you. Have a monthly budget or plan for driving traffic to your site, work on that consistently.

· Customer care and personal testimonials can significantly help you succeed with your internet marketing affiliate program. Have an email system that you check regularly to answer any questions from your potential customers. Instead of just placing your affiliate links, try to have some testimonials that highlight the benefits of the product, service or business opportunity. This will help you make more sales, thus increasing your checks.

· Offer a free e-zine or short course on your website. Some visitors to your website do not make a purchase the first time they visit your site. By offering a free e-zine for your visitors to subscribe to, you are able to keep in constant contact with your potential customers, and over time, they will become your committed clients. Internet marketing affiliate programs need a large customer base to succeed, so you need to capture every potential client.

By following the guideline presented above, you will succeed with your internet marketing affiliate program. You will need to use these strategies so that you increase your sales and earn more sales. Building a huge down-line is important in internet marketing, and having more visitors and more sales or sub-affiliates is important for your business.

Succeeding with your internet marketing affiliate program is easy if you follow the key recommendations that can guarantee your success, and avoid the common mistakes which affiliates make.

Root Keywords Are Key To SEO Efforts

by Halstatt Pires

Whether you are just starting out with search engine optimization or an old pro, keyword research is the foundation upon which top rankings are built and root keywords are the most important.

Root Keywords Are Key To SEO Efforts

Keywords, keywords, keywords - the term used so often in search engine optimization that it can get a bit overwhelming at times. What exactly are keywords? How do I find them? How do I use them? Why is the term spelled keywords instead of key words? Ah, there are so many questions we can go into. Of course, we should talk about something far more important.

The key to keyword research is focusing on the key word. How is that for a sentence? Okay, now for something understandable. When identifying terms you wish to use in the optimization effort for your site, you must look to the base word of the area you are researching. That probably is not much better, so here is an example.

Assume I am researching the keywords for an online internet marketing company, to wit, the site promoted with this article. Should I type in "online internet marketing" into my favorite research tool? No! By doing so, I limit myself to finding only those keywords that contain these three words. Taking this approach, I would even miss the basic term "internet marketing." Obviously, I have not focused on the root word of my research.

Returning to my research tool, I should go ahead and find all the words for "internet marketing", right? No! Doing so will return more keyword phrases, but I am still limiting myself to only those phrases that contain the two words. In this case, I will miss out on phrases related to "internet advertising" or "online marketing" and so on. By taking this approach, I have followed the seo herd and missed out on some juicy opportunities.

The best approach to the above scenario is to research two words first - "internet" and "marketing". Do them separately and then work your way into the various combination of words that will appear. These are your root words. Bow before them. Treat them nicely. Research them and you might just find some massive traffic with low competition, the stuff of dreams!

There is a tendency in seo to by into the hype of going niche. Yes, certain situations definitely call for focusing on a very defined niche. When doing your keyword research, however, always start with the root words. They will lead you to the niche you can make money in.

Affiliate Marketer 101

by Robert Kreuk

Affiliate programs. Theyve made rich people out of many, many people out there. For those who dont know, being an affiliate means youre selling other peoples products. For each one you sell you get a commission. Its a great system that rewards the seller, affiliate, and buyer. Everyone is happy, they each got something they wanted.

Before you can be a successful affiliate marketer you need to learn how to play the marketing game on the internet. It would be interesting to note, that most people visiting two sites, that are only slightly different, can be predicted what theyll do. Marketers test and test and test pages until they get the highest sales per page, and keep trying to perfect it until their sales arent getting any higher. Theyre very in tune to human nature and what someone will do and want to go on their websites. Proper placement and design are crucial to your success on your landing page.

The success they have does not come overnight, but that doesnt mean its hard to learn. Affiliate marketing, or just Internet Marketing, can have a steep learning curve for some. Once you break through that wall however, the wealth you want is limited only by your dedication to repeat your successes with as many other websites you want to create. The initial investment to get into internet and affiliate marketing can seem overpriced and unnecessary, but for a handful of products out there its worth the cost. What you learn and how you apply it will make it pay itself back over and over again.

If youve wanted to get into internet marketing but never took the plunge, now may be a good time too. Some of the best domain names are already gone, but there is still some fine pickings left for the creative and dedicated marketer. There are forums and people willing to teach you how to perfect this business too, all you need is the want and the drive to do it.

Dont Forget to Market Your Internet Business Offline

by Lyn Leckie

Marketing your internet business is a key strategy to being a successful internet marketer. However a lot of people who are internet marketers think that they should only do online marketing this is so wrong. Sure there are billions of internet users online and you should try and target your advertising to them but you also should advertise your business offline. How do we advertise our business offline, there are many ways to advertise your business offline.

Classified advertising is one of the preferred offline marketing forms as it is so easy to contact your local newspaper and place an advert in the next issue. If you decide to do this you really should use a tracking program as you want to know where your customers are coming from and re work what works and what doesnt so that you arent wasting your money.

Flyers is another great way of getting the word out about your website and encourage people to visit your site, maybe offer them a freebie or a discount to encourage them to visit your website. Even if you dont make a sale you may get them to subscribe to your list and make a sale further down the line.

Word of mouth tell all your friends about your website you never know they may tell someone who tells someone who purchases something from you or decides that they too want to get into the internet business and they may join you in building your down line and sign up for one or two of your programs.

Have your website address on the back of your car. If you have a really nice car why not get a really cool sticker made with your website address and a slogan and while youre in traffic someone may just jot down your website address and check it out and purchase something. You can also get family and friends to also ad stickers to their cars.

The whole reason for marketing online or off is to get targeted traffic to your website so dont limit your chances dont forget to market your website offline.

Internet: Wholesale Hoaxes And Internet Marketing Tips,Trends, And Truths

by Douglas Graham

Welcome friend to a very informative newsletter that looks at both sides of the vast world of internet (Buying&Selling) tips, trends, and truth. Here I believe you will find some very useful imformation that will aid you in your journey through the internet corporate jungle trail called the internet market of gifts, collectibles, wholesale, retail, and marketing programs. I looked high and low all over the internet for "Wholesale" items to purchase to sell on auction sites like Ebay,U-Bid, and Yahoo and was overwhelmed. There were so many sites that claimed to be true wholesale warehouse dropshippers, they all had different products but most seem to have one thing in common before you could see their entire site you had to make a good faith payment that would be your first monthly payment. ($39.95 to $300.00)

Well that seemed a bit vague to me they showed a few of their less expensive items for free so I opened a few of the sites in my multi tabbed browser and tried to compare some simular products and copied and pasted some in notepad then began to search for those items on the auction sites and what I noticed was that most of the items were priced higher than what the same items were selling for on the auction sites.Well I thought maybe if I join one of the wholesale sites and looked at all their products they would have lower prices because I paid the setup fee, well let me tell you that was not the case.

I found that I couldnt sell a thing because my prices were to high because the warehouse I had joined was selling at well above wholesale pricing. So there I sat looking at my auctions(almost a month went by) the items werent selling and in a few short days another $39.95 would be due to the wholesale warehouse I had joined. So the next day I called them and cancelled my subscription.then I sat back and thought for several hours what was I doing wrong.

Then I started a more involved study of internet marketing and these are the things I found out.

We offer everything you need to succeed:

A dynamic, fast-selling line of thousands of items, fully guaranteed Rock-bottom, true-wholesale prices A merchandising team that constantly scours the globe for new products to add to your line Your own Business Coach to help you jump-start your business Solid, practical money-making programs A huge warehouse stacked to the rafters, ready to ship your order within 1-2 business days

We offer several money making programs:

Program-1 Catalog Distribution Program-2 Swap Meet & Flea Market Sales Program-3 Wholesaling Program-4 Sub-Wholesaling Program-5 Fund-Raising Program-6 Party Plan Program-7 Mail Order Program-8 Gift Shop Program-9 Internet Marketing

Armed with my new found information I began to search the internet for a true wholesale warehouse that offered these services, I found some that met my criteria and I thought alright, yes yes yes finally I can start making some money so I started filling out forms and most of these (good wholesale warehouses) were fantastic eccept I didnt have the $200.00 to $500.00 startup capital they wanted to become a member plus you needed a business, tax license to buy at true wholesale prices.

Solution for success: I decided to scrimp and save then when I had enough money I bought in to a factory direct marketing group and now I own and operate my own company. and now I want to share with all that read this artical a true wholesale warehouse that has everything you want and need with out any of the hard-work, and start-up fees. ( all you need to buy at true wholesale and no tax is a business license, about $20..00 in most states).

Search Tips for Internet Marketers

By: Ryen Kim

From kids to the old, everybody searches and search engines provide search tips to help searchers get more relevant result.

But how many of those search tips are you using? There are some tips very useful especially for Internet marketers and web masters. I've summarized those tips and explained how those search tips can be helpful for Internet Marketers in this article.

Although I'm writing this article for Internet Marketers, the usage of these tips applies are not restricted only for them.

Suppose you want to write a web page, find or create a web site about 'Internet Marketing Blog.' You may want to know or should know :-) what's going on about 'Internet Marketing Blog' on the net. So, you'll open your favorite search engine, type internet marketing blog and hit enter.

What do you get?

You'll have search engine result pages (SERPs) that includes all three terms plus those includes only two of them or one of them. This is not what you wanted.

1. How to make SERPs include all three terms?
Use plus sign in front of each search term. That is, type; +internet +marketing +blog . This applies all search engines.

Now you may wonder is it possible to have the SERPs including internet marketing but not blog?

2. How to make SERPs exclude a certain term?
Use minus sign in front of search term you want to exclude. That is, type; +internet +marketing -blog . You'll see the web sites that include both internet and marketing but not blog. This applies all search engines.

Going back to the starting point, the above two tips are still not sufficient to your purpose: getting information about "Internet Marketing Blog." Say, you wanted the exact phrase.

3. How to make SERPs include the exact phrase?
Use quotation mark. That is, type; "internet marketing blog". This applies all search engines. Many searchers know this tip and it's especially important for Internet marketers when they want to know how many competitors are out there.

4. How to make SERPs show the pages that include search terms in the title?
Type; intitle:"internet marketing blog" for Google and Teoma.
Type;title:"internet marketing blog" for AltaVista, AllTheWeb and MSN.
This tip is powerful if you want to write web content about your targeted keyword. The benefits are :

* You'll know which web sites have the pages that compete you.
* You'll find what are they doing in their pages.
* As a consequence, you'll know what you can learn from them and more importantly you'll find what they are missing. Hence, you can find the way to beat them.

5. How to make SERPs show only PDF file?
Suppose you want to offer a free e-book, say "Greatest Marketing Secrets" which is in PDF format, you may want to know how many web sites are offering this free e-book.
In Google can this be easily done by typing "greatest marketing secrets" filetype:pdf. You'll see how many web sites are offering that e-book and which web sites as well. Google has an ability to show another 12 non HTML file, such as Word, Lotus files.

For Yahoo!, digging into advanced search tips link, you can achieve similar result.

6. How to know whether your newly uploaded page is listed on search engines?
Type; allinurl:yourhome.com/uploaded.html or site:yourhome.com/uploaded.html in Google.

For AltaVista, Yahoo! Search, MSN, Excite and Northern Light, use url instead of allinurl. But unlike Google, you may have to place http:// in front of domain name in other search engines. For AllTheWeb and Lycos (for AllTheWeb results only) use url.all, and for Inktomi originurl.

If you don't see any result or see something like "... did not match any documents", try again placing "www" in front of domain. Both result can be different. If both results fail to show matching page, it means that page is not listed yet.

7. How to make SERPS show only in certain web site?
Suppose you want to see the pages includes exact keyword phrase "internet marketing blog" within a certain web site, you can achieve this by typing "internet marketing blog" site:anyhome.com in Google, Yahoo! Search, MSN, Excite and Netscape. For Altavista, use host instead of site, for AlltheWeb and Lycos use url.host and for Inktomi domain. You may use this tip to figure out what your competitor is doing with this keywords.

8. How to know how many pages of your sites are listed?
The search tip 7 can be extended for this purpose.
That is, type: yourhome site:yourhome.com in Google. This shows all the indexed pages in yourhome.com because all your pages include "yourhome". For other search engines use appropriate search command, for example, host instead of site in Altavista.

9. How to know which web sites linked your site?
You may wonder which web sites are linking to your site. To find out which web sites and how many, type; link:yourhome.com in Google, Yahoo! Search, and Altavista. But you may have to place http:// in front of domain name for the search engines other than Google.
For Inktomi use linkdomain instead of link and for AlltheWeb use link.all.

10. How to know when search engine crawled your site?
One way to know this is to see log file on your server. But what if you want to check how often the 'spider' crawl your competitor's site?

Every search engine spider takes a snapshot of the web sites when it visited. And it records the date when it takes a snapshot. Because of this you can know when the spider crawled your site or your competitor's site.

Type the search command explained in search tip no. 8, for example, yourhome site:yourhome.com, and then you'll see the SERPs listing your web pages. In the result page, you'll see "Cached" or "Cached Page" link for each page. Choose one of them, click it and then you'll be leaded to the snapshot of that page. Around top, you may find the date when it was took and that's the date when the spider crawled your site.

Now you have ten search tips. Some of them you already knew and some of them you might not recognize. Hope you find some tips that are of help.

3 Facts You Need To Know About Passive Income Super-Highway!

by Stefanus Wahyudi

3 Facts You Need To Know About Passive Income Super-Highway! by Stefanus Wahyudi

"If I had to do it all over again, rather than build an old style type of business, I would have started building a Network Marketing business." - Robert T. Kiyosaki, Author of "Rich Dad Poor Dad".

The reason Robert said that is because in order to make more money in a shorter time, we cannot rely on our own effort, money and power; we have to use the power of LEVERAGE. And Network Marketing has the BEST leverage power in generating money.

Im gonna tell you 3 simple SECRETS of Online Network Marketers:

============================================================ 1. Internet is not just expanding, its BOOMING! ========================================================== These are some of the results from a research report by eTForecasts: The number of Internet users surpassed 530 million in 2001 and will continue to grow STRONGLY in the next five years.

By the end of 2005 the number of worldwide Internet users will double to 1.12B. WOW!

This means 1.12B people that you can reach by the internet.

Conclusion: ->> Market Reach:

If only 0.1% of them want to escape the rat race and here you go offering the Online Network Marketing business to them, youll have 1.12 MILLION POTENTIAL downlines.

============================================================ 2. Online Network Marketing means REAL FREEDOM! ==========================================================

You can operate your business from anywhere you want!

Run your business from your home, your office, Miami Beach or Disneyland while taking vacation with your kids. Run it from anywhere youve got Internet connection.

Remember that nowadays laptops, PDAs or even cellphones can access Internet almost from anywhere with GPRS technology. Can you imagine what will happen in the next 5 years?

No boss to order you around. STOP making your boss richer, START enriching yourself NOW!

And the best part about Online Network Marketing is this magic word:

AUTOMATION

Everyone loves Online Business because their business is up 24/7 and its on autopilot.

Conclusion: ->> Freedom:

2-3 hours a day is enough to take care of your Online Network Marketing Biz. It mainly consists of replying to emails and promoting your website, while everything else has already been programmed on autopilot; Moreover, you can work anywhere you WANT!

Isnt this TRUE freedom?

Think about the remaining time of the day. Could you use those time to create another income stream?

=========================================================== 3. Good Cashflow, Good Passive Income! ===========================================================

Too many people know this formula.

However, most of them fail to know that the 2 of the greatest things human ever created: Internet and Network Marketing System, if COMBINED will be the FASTEST super-highway to FINANCIAL FREEDOM.

Building an Opt-In list Quickly, From Scratch and With No Money

by Judd Natalie

Once you have given a reader some compelling reason to visit your site, then you need to capture them. "The Best way to build an opt-in list from scratch and very quickly is through a simple one-page website called a squeeze page," says Internet Marketing Guru, Tellman Knudson.

A squeeze page, or an opt-in page, is designed to do just that - squeeze the information out of the site visitor. The only thing someone can do on a squeeze page is to enter their name and email.

Conversion rates for a squeeze page will vary but industry averages will be somewhere along these lines:

From PPC average 19% conversion From affiliate traffic average 52% conversion From non-specific referrals average 41% conversion

Once a marketer has a squeeze page and people have opted-in to their list then they will need an autoresponder to send emails to the people on the list on a consistent basis to continue to build rapport and keep them coming back and tuned-in for more.

From here then you can continue to drive traffic to this squeeze page and keep building the list.

All marketers need to make sure that they are not using spam techniques to drive traffic. "Spam is illegal, wrong and should never be done by any marketer," says Tellman.

Because Internet Marketing is skill-based there are some quick, low-cost ways to learn the ways to build lists and squeeze pages. My first list by Tellman Knudson is a product we have used. It offers step-by-step instructions for building a list and in a short time our list grew and so did our sales. E-mail Promotion Internet Marketing Works

by Daegan Smith

E-mail promotion Internet marketing can help your home-based business expand and attract customers that are interested in goods and services like yours. Once you have determined who is your target market, drawing them into your circle of customers requires some effort. Using an e-mail promotion, Internet marketing can be very lucrative to your business.

Before you start an e-mail promotion Internet marketing campaign, you must develop a database that represents your target customers. If you are offering e-mail services as part of your mix, you must make sure the customers know about them. Also, provide several ways for someone to opt-in your services. Some of these options include: by providing an online way to sign up, by telephone or by direct mail as well.

An effective e-mail promotion Internet marketing program does not end when someone gives you an e-mail address. You may e-mail them once before they must respond to either an opt-in or opt-out message. Otherwise, you might be accused of illegal spamming. Once people have opt-in to your e-mail services, treat them with care. Such customers are valuable and should be treated as a valuable commodity. Do not pass your list on to a third party without the permission of the parties in question. Also, you must have an opt-out option available for those that wish to do so.

The key to a good e-mail promotion Internet marketing strategy is good communications. Be sharp and to the point in your e-mail messages. Make them exciting and compelling. Remember your message may be given only a second or two to make a positive impression so the reader will look more. Otherwise, it will probably be deleted as junk mail. Also, dont try to cover everything in one e-mail message. Use two or three to raise interest in your offering. By using interesting copy in your e-mail promotions, you can achieve a significant increase in business.

3 Easy, Money Making Internet Business Models

by Gobala Krishnan

Copyright 2005 Gobala Krishnan

Amid all the noise and hype on the Internet today, not many people realize that all the ideas and techniques you can find are petty much useless if you dont first understand your business model. In other words, even the most amazing Internet marketing technique will not work if you dont understand how to apply it to YOUR business.

The 3 most popular business models are:

1) Affiliate Marketing

This is perhaps the most popular one out there, since there are absolutely no barriers to entry. Almost anyone can sign-up for an affiliate program for free and start promoting the product or service on the Internet with hopes that someone will buy, giving them instant commissions. Affiliate marketers dont carry any risk, since they do not pay for the creation of the product, they do not handle customer service and they do not need any up-front investments.

When you consider that those are the top three things people want to avoid, its no surprise that almost everyone and their neighbor promotes an affiliate program or another. In fact, if there is a single reason why the Internet today is so proliferated with ads and banners, its because of affiliate programs.

Even though there are so many affiliate marketers out there, only 5% ever make any money and only 1% makes big money. The "Super Affiliates" do it very differently from all the other millions; therefore they earn the big checks.

You can get a good idea of how to be a good affiliate marketer here: http://affiliatemarketing.sitesell.com/globalmillionaire.html

2) E-book and Information Publishing

Sitting at the other end of the spectrum, e-book authors need to be more disciplined in their approach to Internet marketing. Of course, they also need to invest more than affiliates do. While affiliates can get away trying to "get something for nothing" the same is not true for the e-book type of business.

If youre thinking about publishing and selling your own e-book online, and you think its going to be easy, think again. Youll need to learn a lot more than affiliates are required to. Youll need to spend some amount of money getting your business up and running. However, when you do it right, the payoff in this online business model is much more rewarding.

The reason why e-book marketers and "Infopreneurs" make more money is simple; they have very, very low production and maintenance costs. Anything digital doesnt cost a single cent to be produced in millions if necessary. Whatever initial start-up costs spent can be covered by selling just a few copies of high-margin e-books, and you can even recruit an army of affiliates who are more than willing to do all the selling for you.

Of course, its not as easy as it sounds, but the point is, when done properly, the "E-book Publishing" model is a truly profitable business.

You can learn more about e-book publishing at http://egoods.sitesell.com/globalmillionaire.html

3) Internet Based Network Marketing

Ive heard many people say that the Internet and network marketing are a match made in heaven. In my opinion, though, almost 90% of people get it wrong when it comes to Internet based network marketing. People in this business usually think theyre talking about network marketing, but in reality they are talking about affiliate marketing.

They try to make the Internet do all the work. They hide behind their computers and pretend everythings going great. They focus on selling more and more every month. They have systems that are so complicated only they can understand it. Well, that doesnt sound like network marketing to me!

Internet based network marketing is simple if you understand it, and are willing to put in the effort. The role of the Internet here is only to get you the names and contact details of people you can talk to, after which YOU, not a computer, has to build a relationship with these people and help them to start their own business.

For this simple purpose, it is not necessary for you to have a high-tech system and pretend that your auto responder is building relationships for you. Its not going to work. The key is to have simple systems that are duplicable, something you can teach to all those people you have built a relationship with. For this purpose I use NetMarkPro at http://www.netmarkpro.net/globalmillionaire and teach my own affiliates to use it too.

E-book authors, no matter what they say, have no obligation to teach you their "Secret Strategies to Become a Millionaire" of any variations to that. The reason is simple; why tell you the absolute truth when youll end up as their competitor? No one wants more competitors, right?

Internet based network marketing is very much the opposite of that. You HAVE to tell people EVERYTHING you know or your business will never take off. For this reason alone, I always recommend that if youre new to the online world, you need to first join an Internet based network marketing business at least to learn. Rest assured, no one will be selling you half-baked truths when their success ultimately depends on yours.

These are the Top 3 most popular online business models today. There are more, of course, and you can read about it at http://case-studies.sitesell.com/globalmillionaire.html

No matter which model you choose, make sure you understand the basics, and stop listening to and buying things that are not applicable to your business. Information overload can stop you before you even get started.

Best Internet Marketing Solutions On A Budget

by Paul Winter

The Internet has opened up a world of opportunities for business. It has become increasingly important for businesses to expand their market and to meet their targets. The Internet gives them an opportunity to achieve this by enabling even the smallest business to have a world-wide impact. But marketing on the Internet isnt without its risks and difficulties.

To be successful a company needs to ensure that they get their product in front of the right people. All of their marketing activities need to be targeted to reach those who will be interested in buying their product. It is important that the products that they are selling are going to capture the interest and meet the needs of their target market. This means that they need to identify who these people are, where they are located both geographically and in terms of the websites that they visit, and have to an idea of their financial level in society. Knowledge of the market is essential to success.

There are a number of ways of marketing online being offered by Internet marketing companies which a company may wish to utilize. These include email marketing, search engine optimization or creating webpages or sites. It is important for companies to maximize their returns, it is therefore important to use Internet marketing methods that help them to achieve this. Fortunately most Internet marketing techniques do not cost much and since many are self-explanatory they are easily learned.

Email marketing is a very common way for companies to market their goods. This is a cost effective way of communicating and interacting with your consumers, driving them to visit your website and check out your products. Getting email addresses that you can legally send your emails to is more problematic. Of course it is possible to rent opt-in lists. These are people who have agreed to receive information on various subjects. The problem with renting a list is that it can be expensive. This is ok if a company has a large advertising budget, but it may be prohibitive if the company is a home business or is just starting out. One way to build a list is to submit articles to article directories and include a link to your opt in newsletter.A newsletter has an advantage of expanding your customers as more and more sign up on it until you can have a bulk list of emails.

Another great Internet marketing solution is to use websites to sell your products. This is a good promotion strategy to employ, since you can display all the necessary information for your target customers. The website should be built to capture their interest and be complete since every transaction, from inquiry to payments may take place. All correspondence that will be done online must be well-facilitated by the features of your website.

An important Internet marketing tool is search engine optimization. This is a type of service for your website that you can make use of in order to raise the number of visitors to your site. Once a consumer uses a search engine, your website will rank high in the list of searches which in return will increase your sites traffic.

Consider these Internet Marketing Solutions. There are a number of different companies offering software products containing one or all of these tools. It would be a great opportunity to try one of these which will match your financial capability and expected return profit.

Anatomy Of An Internet Marketing System

by Titus Hoskins

Please let me tell you about the Internet marketing systems I use and find helpful. This information may be of some benefit to you, especially if your goal is to monetize your site or earn an income from your online marketing.

My name is Titus Hoskins and I own and operate a very modest marketing website called www.bizwaremagic.com. I have been designing web pages and sites since 1998. I have an Art/Education background but in the last couple of years I have been studying online marketing systems and using them.

Yes, studying them, since I have an art background I like to examine structures and beneath the surface of things in order to gain a clearer picture. I like to see the whole picture - the big picture. But the underlying elements behind these complex systems interests me the most. Whats beneath the surface excites me: the structure holding everything in place, how they are designed, the methods and tools used to make these marketing systems work.

Keep in mind that I still feel a bit funny referring to myself as an Internet marketer. Last week my marketing efforts made me around a thousand dollars. I dont know if that qualifies me as an Internet marketer or not - probably not. Most of the people with whom I associate and have contact, make that in a day. The really smart ones make that in an hour.

A thousand dollars in one hour?

How is that possible? Well, the marketing experts who earn the big ds - usually have complex automated marketing systems set up and operating on the Internet. These systems start with their own products but quickly expand and build with large opt-in lists or ezines, 1000s of affiliates, large JV networks, multi-sites, viral marketing, membership forums, brandable ebooks, online marketing tools/resources and the list goes on...

No doubt you may have stumbled across some of these marketing systems on the Internet... one of the first I encountered was Internet Marketing Center run by the late Corey Rudl who died tragically in a car crash at the young age of 34. I made my first affiliate check through Coreys system and it changed the way I looked at the Internet forever. And the check was only $5!

What helped me earn that $5 were not only my own efforts but more importantly the whole marketing system behind IMC. It took an ordinary webmaster and showed him how to market on the web. It showed me the way. More importantly, it also taught me that Internet marketing is a skill anyone can learn.

These marketing systems can be good places for the beginning marketer to learn those skills. There are many marketing systems quietly working the Internet. Some of the best (in my opinion) are Ken Evoys whole Site Sell system, Marlon Sanders Higher Response Marketing, John Reeses Traffic Secrets, Bryan Winters PushButton Publishing, Jeff Mulligans CBmalls, and Nitro Marketing.

These Internet marketing systems are all different, yet they all have common elements or features that make them very effective and powerful marketing systems. A close examination of the different components or parts might give you a better understanding of what makes these Internet marketing systems work.

Heres a list of the different parts of an effective Internet Marketing system:

o Founder or Helm: All these marketing systems have a strong leader or founder at the helm. A very vocal and forceful communicator or spokesperson is needed as a focal point. And like any company, its only as good as the person leading it. Because the Internet is still a very scary place for the average user - a friendly outgoing spokesperson is needed to break down those barriers (real or imaginary).

o Unique Product or Products: Most of the effective marketing systems have their own products to market. These can be digital information products, web building/hosting packages, or even self-contained marketing systems - or all of the above. Some popular products that come to mind would include Ken Evoys whole Site Sell and SiteBuildIt line, or Jeff Mulligans CBmalls which promotes the well-known digital download affiliate site ClickBank.

o Databases or Lists: All these systems collect and keep large databases or opt-in permission contact lists of customers and potential customers. The real net value of any marketing system is in the quantity and more importantly the quality of its lists. All deliver a weekly or daily ezine or ezines to these lists. Consider these databases as the engines that empower any Internet marketing system.

o JV Networks: Most have large Joint Venture Networks or contacts that will kick-start any new product. Momentum and sales are created with these JV partners. An ideal JV partner is a well-respected online marketer with very responsive and very large opt-in lists. If databases are like engines, JV networks will fill those engines with the fuel they need.

o Affiliates: The best marketing systems use 1000s of affiliates to promote and market their products. This is usually done in-house with their own affiliate program or onsite software set up. Some use third party affiliate programs like ClickBank, 1ShoppingCart, Commission Junction, LinkShare, or Shareasale. This is your ignition.

o AutoResponders: One of the most effective marketing tools these systems use, autoresponders, are essential for delivering the sales. A series of follow-up e-mails will increase sales dramatically. Studies have shown that it takes 6 or 7 follow-ups before someone purchases your product. Consider the autoresponder as a fuel injection system.

o Tracking and Marketing Resources: All have extensive tracking and marketing resources, usually located online within a membership site. An easy to use and accessible tracking system for affiliates is needed. So too are marketing resources such as banners, links, coupons, graphics, SEO tactics, landing pages, lead capture pages, brandable reports, articles and ebooks. Obviously, these are your toolkit.

o Viral Marketing: All great Internet marketing systems use viral marketing techniques. This can be as simple brandable reports, articles, software or ebooks. Affiliates can embed their own IDs and pass these viral products along to their friends and visitors. These useful viral products then get passed around all over the web - creating links, contacts, buzz and funneling prospects back to your marketing system. Consider viral marketing your Turbo Charger.

o Online Forums: Many of the better Internet Marketing systems will have an online forum where members can network and interact and could offer workshops and tutorials. This is a vital community building tool that must not be overlooked or underestimated. It will greatly enhance the effectiveness of any marketing system, building a foundation and launch pad for any new products. Online forums are your gas stations.

o Cross Promotion: These marketing systems can become very complex: promoting programs within programs, cross-networking whole systems within systems, joint ventures within joint ventures. Marketing seminars, conventions and workshops are other lucrative features these systems use to market their products and to network with other marketers. This is your Hybrid fuel.

o Corporate Blogs: Most have company blogs or a network of members blogs. Its important to realize the power of these relatively new mediums for getting the word out. RSS feeds are also used to syndicate your sales message and content. That would be your satellite radio.

o Affiliate Incentives: The better marketing systems have affiliate incentives and contests to motivate their sales force - from cruises to Ferraris.

o They Pay Their Affiliates On Time: This might seem trivial, except to the affiliate. The best Internet marketing systems pay their affiliate regularly and on time. They are trusted and respected by affiliates and online marketers. This trust has been built up over many years of good solid business relationships. The best marketing systems are the ones that can harvest and develop those relationships with thousands or even millions of affiliates. This is your accelerator.

o Automation: Automation is the one key element that makes all of the above possible. These Internet marketing systems are automated to the highest degree possible. Without automation these large marketing networks could not function. Therefore, almost all the day-to-day operation of a marketing system is automated and can run smoothly without much work or maintenance. This is the grease that makes everything run.

o Internet: These marketing systems have taken full advantage of the World Wide Web and used it to their benefit. It permits global marketing with affiliates in every country around the world. This large multinational marketing force is made possible only with the creation of the Internet. Consider it the glue that connects the whole system.

The computer and the Internet make these whole automated marketing systems possible. Closely studied and dissected, these systems are complex, intricate creatures solidly embedded into the Internet and the lives of millions around the globe. Together its enabling lifestyles that offer mobility, freedom and enrichment never before seen this side of a Powerball win!

When you picture these complex marketing systems, dont think of computers, databases, autoresponders, and wires. Rather, picture a sun-drenched tropical beach with a light breeze and a clear blue sky. Picture a person sitting to one side, checking daily sales stats on a cool sleek shinny laptop. Dont forget to zoom in close and you will notice a slight smug smile. But dont stop there, if you stare really hard and think about what you have just read, you will have a clear view of an Internet marketing system.

Internet Marketing Center Course

by Derek Gehl

Hello,

If you're at all serious about making money with your own online business, then it is essential that you carefully consider the deal I want to make with you today...

My good friend Derek Gehl has publicly released the newest edition of his famous "Insider Secrets" online wealth-generating system... and I was wondering if you would mind testing it?

You see, Im considering partnering with Derek (he and his team have made over $40 Million in online sales, and he really *gets* how to be successful selling almost anything using the Internet) -- but before I team up with Derek, I want to make absolutely SURE his system will work for my customers and subscribers.

So heres what Im proposing:

Ive worked out a deal with Derek, and he will ship you (via Federal Express) a 10 lb. box.

In this box youll find 3 resource CDs, 4 guidebooks, and 2 thick binders containing in excess of 1,385 pages explaining the step-by-step instructions on how to start and grow a wildly profitable Internet business.

All Im asking you to do is follow the instructions. If you do this, one of two things will happen:

The system will work for you, and youll start living the dream of "passive" income with your very own Internet business. Youll be literally making money while you sleep!

OR:

The system wont work for you. If this happens, Derek will personally write you a check for $200 as our way of apologizing for wasting your time.

In other words, the absolute WORST thing that can happen if you take us up on this is that youll come out $200 ahead!

The best case scenario is something far, far more exciting... luxury vacations, new cars for you and your family, paying off your mortgage... Its up to you!)

All you need to do today is tell Derek where to send your package by clicking the link below:

All the best,

Olatunji Azeez.

P.S. By the way -- do you want to meet a few of the people who are *already* using Dereks system?

-- Rory M. from Ireland made over $1,000,000 last year selling a VERY strange gizmo from his simple little web site. (I still dont understand exactly what it does!)

-- Barbara J. is making a steady $8,500 a month telling people how to rearrange their old furniture. (Shes a 60-year-old grandmother, and she works LESS than 1 lousy hour a day!)

-- Chris E. must be the envy of his Australian surfer buddies down at the beach... He makes over $200,000 a year working about 9 hours per week. Not bad for a 23-year-old kid!

You can read more of their stories, and find out all the details of how YOU can get started too by visiting:

The Power Of Niche Marketing

by Kevin Moon

If you are considering starting your own Internet business, you have no doubt read about the importance of niche marketing. Thanks to the Internet and the technologies available, niche marketing is a very powerful mechanism that cant be overlooked.

A niche market is, very simply, a group of people that have a common interest. People with a common interest will find a way to come together through websites, forums, chat rooms, newsgroups, blogs, etc. When they come together, they will discuss what it is that makes them common.

When marketing your product or service, you will want to concentrate your efforts on your target, or niche, market. You will not want to waste your time and money marketing to people who have no interest in your product or service. You will want to focus on those people that are already interested or are likely interested in your product or service.

This is where niche marketing on the Internet becomes very powerful. Finding and targeting these groups of people that share common interests is quite easy on the Internet. Once you find your niche market, you will want to find out what it is these people need and want. Then you will develop a product or service that will satisfy what they need or what they want. Once you have your product or service developed, you will want to enter your group and let them know about your offer (properly done, of course). If you provide something that solves a problem or gives valuable new information, it will quickly spread like wildfire among the group.

Thanks to various tools available to you, you can target individuals on the Internet and deliver your message at the exact time they are looking for a solution. This kind of opportunity did not exist ten years ago.

Utilizing niche marketing in your online business can be quite powerful if done correctly. There are many success stories of business owners who have made large amounts of money using these exact same procedures.

Internet Marketing - A definitive Guide

by Subhash Kumar

While Internet Marketing is nobodys patented secret, there are some tips and techniques that are very useful. Like the traditional marketing, Internet Marketing is also about the Customer, the market and then planning the strategies. A two-pronged effort, on promoting the site as well as driving traffic to the website is involved in Internet Marketing.

Start your marketing with Research and Planning and Analysis

Before starting with Internet marketing it is necessary that you first carefully look at your products and services and try to find out their USPs. For marketing it is very important that you have a unique selling point, which attracts the customers toward your products. It can be the low price or the high quality value of your product that makes it stand apart from other competing products. No matter how big your marketing plan is, if it fails to properly convey to the customer what is in store for him/her, you have failed in your marketing strategy. This can only happen if you are unaware of the market and the requirements of your target audience. Once the traffic starts pouring in, it is now time to analyze and evaluate your web site. This helps in evaluating the customers requirements and finding out whether you have offered him the right solution. It also helps in making your website more users friendly.

Any Internet marketing technique has three basic aims.

1. Drive more traffic to your site.

2. Ensure repeat visits by the customers by offering unique benefits.

3. Converting visitors into customers.

Increasing Web Traffic

Increasing traffic to the site is definitely a science. SEO, Search Engine Optimization is the tool that optimizes our keywords. Thus making your site more suitable for being searched and "catch the attention" of search engine algorithms. Properly applied SEO techniques give your site higher search engine ranking which directly results in increased traffic to your site.

Internet marketing focuses on highlighting your products and services. This is done through SEO as well as other means like link exchanges, link building, email campaigns, ezines and newsletters with the intention of catching the eyeballs of the future clients.

Benefits to the customers

Benefits can be offered to the visitor in a number of ways and the most important of all is offering quality content. Make sure that you provide informative content to keep the Customer hooked to your web site. The content can be presented in the form of articles, e-books and the blogs, which provide real and current information. The subjects of the articles and e-books can be related to your web site products. This will serve two purposes, one that the customer will get quality information and the second that you are offering information related to your products, which makes the visitor interested in your products.

Converting Visitors into Customers

After marketing, let us now come to the real thing. It is to convert the visitors into customers. The key here is to offer good products, which are a solution to customers requirement. While offering descriptions of your products also provide testimonials. These testimonials speak better than you do for your products.

A Review of Willie Crawford

by Jeff Staub

Willie Crawford is a name you will see quite frequently on the Internet. He began working on his first Internet business in 1996 while still in the military because he sought a mobile business opportunity that could transfer from post to post as his career in the military moved. He is often billed as an Internet marketing expert and consultant.

I recently spent time listening to an audio presentation, "Secrets Revealed of a Successful Online Marketer - Willie Crawford" featuring both Willie Crawford and Patric Chan. You can listen to the same presentation at http://www.InternetMarketingHowToWorkshop.com/willie-patric.mp3 to form your own opinion.

What Willie Crawford did early on was to develop his own product. You have all heard that to be successful on the Internet, you have to have your own products. While this is certainly part of a successful strategy it is not absolutely necessary. However, Mr. Crawford impresses me because he didnt set out to become an Internet marketing guru. He was simply a man with a passion for cooking . He parlayed his heritage recipes passed down to him by his grandmother into an Internet website devoted to recipes. From this he began a cookbook empire on the suggestions of his visitors.

Here you can see the successful ingredients of a business; a informational product (recipes/cookbooks) that you are passionate about with a niche market passionate about the product. He also collected and built an enormous list of subscribers to his site to which he continue marketing and selling.

Willie Crawford then took what he had learned from his original venture on the Internet and developed other Internet marketing businesses, consulting services, and seminar presentations. Hes focused on the "how to" of business development and provides a lifetime guarantee on the value of his seminar teachings. So, if you plan to attend theres no risk. That is a pretty amazing guarantee.

His tools for success include intense email contact with his subscriber list. Often he contacts them daily. His subscribers are also participants submitting recipes for consideration to his site, so the site continually generates new content which is a must with ranking in the search engines.

Willie Crawford believes in being the expert, a key component to building trust with customers. He uses article marketing, press releases, submission to newsletter distribution services and direct mail marketing as valuable tools for generating his expert reputation and driving traffic to his websites.

Willie Crawford has been around a long time. His story is one worth paying attention to. You can check him out at http://www.williecrawford.com. You will see that his formula for success is a viable method for creating wealth and lifestyle freedom.
