Know More About Email Marketing

by Dennis Leem

Do you want to know more about email marketing? Gaining knowledge of any type is always a good thing. Education, whether it is formal or informal education, is the key to self-improvement and professional advancement. In this day and age, whether you work for yourself or for someone else, if you know more about the topic than the next guy, youll be two steps ahead of the pack and able to beat the competition.

Of course, one thing to keep in mind when learning more about this skill is that your marketing campaign needs to be directed at your target audience, the demographic of people who will do business with you. If you sold a product geared towards women for instance, then targeting men over age 50 probably isnt the best approach.

Another thing to keep in mind when learning more about email marketing is that the customs and etiquette of the Internet are very strict when it comes to unsolicited email, especially that sent out for marketing purposes. If email is unsolicited, then it is considered spam, and spamming is at the very least considered to be rude and in poor taste. Some places and under some conditions it is even illegal.

So if you know more about how to market using email as it relates to spam and unsolicited email you will do several positive things. You will avoid legal problems down the road. You will avoid offending the people who receive your email. You will keep your reputation solid and positive. And, you will avoid contributing to the cyber clutter that litters the Internet. All of these are very good things indeed.

It is easy to see that getting to know more about this marketing skill is a positive move that you can make for your own future and knowledge base. Now, how does one go about learning more about email marketing? Well, the Internet itself is a great resource tool.

Simply doing a search in one of the search engines for something like "email marketing information" or "know more about email marketing" should bring up some websites with helpful information. There are many variations to the search criteria you can use. Doing this should also help you find forums and groups of people who will share information.

Many people involved in online marketing or wanting to know more about internet marketing belong to forums and groups and are happy to share information and exchange ideas. Some places will have articles of interest, or eBooks for free or at low cost. And as with most types of self-help information, when you explore avenues of getting to know more about marketing to a email list, those avenues will often lead to other sources of information, the same way one friend tells another, and another, and so on.

If you stay persistent, then your base of information will increase, as will your internet-marketing skills. Youll get to know more about email marketing that you realized was available.

Internet Marketing Busines

by Lana Hampton

Internet marketing business is a term that includes all aspects of marketing products or services online. Narrowing down a bit, it means the business of strategising for the online promotion of a product or service. An Internet marketing business encompasses smaller but equally important activities - strategic website design, compelling copywriting, search engine optimization, search engine submission, reciprocal linking, online promotions, blogging, email marketing, and a lot else.

Internet marketing business is also known by other names as web marketing business, online marketing business, etc. Internet marketers are constantly searching for and improving upon newer online marketing strategies that will help them drive more and more targeted traffic to their websites, resulting in an increase in sales. In other words, an Internet marketing business is all about exploring techniques and options that support and enhance the broader marketing objectives of a business.

Any newcomer to the Internet marketing business should concentrate on search engine optimization, for the most traffic still comes to websites through search engines and directories. Besides, he or she should learn to generate targeted traffic online, conduct banner promotions, write superior content, and improve overall brand awareness.

A concrete strategy is a definite plus for any Internet marketing business. It provides you with a measurable way to target your market. This, in turn, makes it easy for people who are looking for what you have to offer. They can find you more easily and without any hassles.

Traffic can be increased by search engine marketing, or by using pay per click campaigns. However, when all that is said and done, it should be emphasized that traffic marketing is not sales, and all visitors are not customers. So the next logical step is to place your attention on the visitors who have reached your site, and then try and convert them into customers of your product or service.

An Internet marketing business differs in many vital ways from a conventional, brick-and-mortar business. One of them is the key factor of human interaction. When a visitor enters a physical store they are facing solid human interaction through a sales person or attendant. During this face-to-face contact, more than ninety percent of the communication that takes place between the two people is non-verbal in nature. An Internet marketing business does not offer that scope of non-verbal communication. Impersonal background code of a website storefront takes the place of warm human interaction. However, that problem can be solved by good content positioning if you have identified your target market well enough.

An Internet marketing business is not hard to coordinate, nor is it too expensive. All you have to do is plan wisely and put that strategy into action. Proper implementation is half the battle won.

How To Choose The Right Internet Marketing Service For Your Company

by Khemal Dole

If you need someone to help you with your online marketing campaigns and you cant find someone within your own company for the job, then you may want to consider hiring an internet marketing service. You probably well know that it is important to have a web presence, and that to obtain that presence you need a solid online marketing plan. Maybe you dont have the knowledge or expertise to do that on your own, and that is where internet marketing services come in. Hiring just ANY internet marketing service isnt going to cut it. When it comes to seeking out internet marketing services for your company, here are some factors to consider.

Any internet marketing services you consider should have the expertise you are looking for. This fact may seem obvious, but too often small business owners make a marketing decision based solely on how big the company is or how fancy their letter head looks. You should make sure that for the specific goals you have in terms of internet marketing the company you choose is right. Have they got experience in the areas you are looking to get help in? Are they dedicated to one area? Do they have their own products?

Secondly, internet marketing services that you trust to work with your business should have a working knowledge of your company. And in order for them to have that, YOU should have it. That is right; you need to know where your companys strengths and weaknesses lie. If you dont know your own company then a hired service wont either. The only way they will get to know your company is through you. So make sure you know your company intimately. Know where your company is positioned in the market and where you want it to be. Only then can you impart that knowledge onto someone else.

Thirdly, because anyone can throw up a website and claim they are one of the thousands of internet marketing services out there, you should check them out. "Google" them by typing their name at www.google.com. Read the reviews and see what theyve been up to. Look for former or current customers you can talk to and ask for references if you can. Look for testimonials. This will ensure that you get a company that can truly help you with your companys needs.

Having a web presence is important. What is more important than that is making sure your web presence is taken to the masses in the right manner. If you dont know how to do that on your own, then it may be time to look for experts. Internet marketing services can help you get the exposure you need, but before you choose one make sure you know what you are looking for, that you understand your companys needs, and that you check out your candidates. Once you do that you will have the marketing expertise that can take your company into the "big leagues".

Outsourcing Your Internet Marketing Projects

by Pawel Reszka

Copyright 2006 Pawel Reszka

Outsourcing is probably the most powerful internet marketing method. Marketers can outsource almost anything that is required to maintain or develop any web project. Outsourcing has become very popular in the past few years because of many ebooks and courses written on that topic. There are three major benefits of using outsourcing method in internet marketing which are saving time, ability to work on more than one project at a time, and making more money by producing more income streams.

Saving time is the most common reasons why internet marketers are searching for ways to outsource their projects. Many of them are so busy that its almost impossible to manage all their work. By outsourcing webmaster can concentrate on marketing their websites and enjoy their free time. Saving time is very important for any internet marketer. Being able to spend more time on getting links to their website or perfecting their pay per click campaigns is an important factor of success. Internet marketers also want to start new websites and move on to more profitable industries while monetizing their previous projects. By outsourcing their work they become more productive which results in success.

Ability to work on more than one project at a time is another factor why outsourcing proves itself as very effective method in internet marketing. By letting a highly qualified professional do webmasters work, he or she can concentrate on coming up with new ideas and projects. This way of marketing is very successful, but can be very expensive. If a marketer has the budget to outsource his work, he should definitely do it. The costs can range anywhere from $20 to $1000s per project. Its something worth looking into, if you are looking for ability to do more than one project at a time.

Making more money by outsourcing internet marketers work is also one of the benefits of using this effective method. If a webmaster is able to save time and concentrate on other projects, he will have more income potential. If a webmaster is capable of doing more than one project at a time, it results in more income streams. As you can see outsourcing your internet work is very profitable if you know how to use it effectively.

Overall I highly recommend using outsourcing method to explode your online marketing business. There are many websites online like rentacoder.com or guru.com where you can hire a person to do your work for a fee. You can hire a programmer to write your software idea for you to sell. You could hire an article writer to constantly provide you with high quality content for your web pages. There are many other reasons to hire someone to outsource your work, but main thing is that this method is highly effective and produces results. By being able to save time, do more than one project at a time, and making more money, marketers accepted outsourcing as one of the major factors of internet marketing success.

Using Internet Marketing For Your Success

by Lee Smith

Copyright (c) 2007 Utopia Creative Solutions Ltd

Internet marketing is the key for any business wanting to increase profits via their web site(s).

The main elements of internet marketing are usually pay-per-click (PPC) and search engine optimisation (SEO) and the business generated via the internet could be the difference in making your business a success.

Using proven, ethical methods, your website can bring your dreams and business goals to life. No matter if its a hobby or an established business, using a combination of tried and tested marketing methods, you could see traffic levels increase by up to 2000%, or even more, and most of this can be targeted traffic, which could result in a sale, enquiry or affilliate click revenue.

Too many companies rely on their web site alone to generate sales or leads, and this is a fatal mistake.

Unless you have a successful name or web site already, the majority of your budget should be spent on Internet marketing or pay-per-click (PPC) to get the traffic to your site. Only when you start to receive revenue from your site, should you then update, upgrade or enhance your site with all the functionality that you require.

This theory only works if your site has been optimised for accessibility, content and has "calls to action", to make the visitors perform the function you require, whether it be subscribing, purchasing or just emiling via an enquiry form.

Any Internet marketing agency should be able to show previous experience and successes from search engine rankings on Google, Yahoo and MSN and be able to provide reports and statistics to back this data up.

One of the most important factors of any Internet marketing campaign, is the choice of keywords used to obtain targeted traffic. Always ask to see the keywords used for your campaign and do not be afraid to ask questions and get statistics to show the number of searches made per month for each keyword.

Your time and money will be wasted if the keywords used are not the best ones for your business, service(s) or product(s).

All Internet marketing agencies should use an established and successful statistics package to track and monitor your web sites visitors, and also to see what web sites or search engines they are coming from.

With these statistics, you should be able to see what is working and what isnt, so you can adjust or optimise your Internet marketing plan accordingly. With a good SEO consultant or marketing agency behind you, you will be on the road to success and before you know it, youll be seeing turnover increase and wondering why you never did it sooner.

Warning: Five Things Every Newbie In The Internet Marketing Business Should Know

by Blaz Banic

At first, people dont know it even exists. Then they come across a web site that tells them Internet marketing exists and that its easy to do... if only they buy some ebook.

After reading a hyped up sales letter, they decide to buy and to magically start making a fortune online. After a few failed attempts they get discouraged and live the business. "It is too hard, it will never work for me", is what they say to themselves...

The reason they failed is very simple. They were falsely lead to believe that Internet marketing requires no work, no investment and is something that just happens. And if you already have a web site - boom - money starts rolling in.

The truth is a bit different and in this article I would like to expose the five things that any newbie to Internet marketing should know to avoid failure.

The first thing every newbie in the Internet marketing business should learn is how to sell. Seriously, this is one of the most important things. If you dont know how to sell, youve got nothing. Simply becoming an affiliate and putting some links up on web sites can work a little bit. But if you know how to pre-sell the product youre promoting, youll see many sales made. This holds true even more if youre selling your own product. You have got to have a sales letter. It is the most important part of your marketing. Read on to learn where you can attain such knowledge...

The second thing newbies usually forget was said before by other online marketers, but is so important that I would like to mention it again. The first thing anyone should do after completing the web site is to plan or schedule the promotion of it. Simply write a weekly schedule:

* Monday: write and distribute an article; post on my blog (3 hours of work) * Tuesday: write and distribute a press release (2 hours of work) * Wednesday: post on my blog (30 minutes to an hour) * Thursday: do research and write another sequence of my autoresponder (2-3 hours of work) * Friday: get even more links to my site...

Its also a good thing to post to forums in your niche. But do it 30 minutes to an hour at most. Dont get lost on forums. Dont waste time. Your priority is to get your site more visitors and to build credibility for yourself.

Failing to plan promotion is practically a guaranteed way to failure or at least to prolonging the path to your success.

The third thing every newbie should know is: dont be afraid to spend some money. Be it on PPC, link exchanges or other advertising. Just make sure your ROI (Return On Investment) is positive. You should test your campaigns and always track everything. Invest in marketing courses and guides. An excellent course can be found at http://bestmarketingresource.com. Its very cheap and will teach you everything from how to write killer sales letters, autoresponders to how to optimize your web sites for search engines and much more. I found it particularly useful and think every newbie would greatly profit from it.

Fourth, newbies usually get sucked in the "how to" vacuum and begin to buy and read all the courses and then never implement what theyve learned. One good course is enough to get you started. Surely you MUST educate yourself all the time, but just get one course and DO what they tell you to do. The course I recommend gives you ten one hour long interviews with the top experts in the field of Internet marketing plus a giant resource manual that will teach you every trick and technique to get your online business into the high gear - even if youve never done it before. It is officially the number one marketing course of the year 2005 and gives you everything you HAVE to know in order to succeed online. You can find it at http://bestmarketingresource.com.

The fifth and final thing I would like to touch is: people will never (or rarely) buy from you if theyve never heard of you. They wont buy from "The Millionaire" or from "Thunder85", but from real people they trust and have heard of before, like Mark Joyner, Michael Glaspie, and [insert your name here]. This is a huge hint. Get known, build credibility and establish authority. Ill be talking about these things on my blog http://insidemarketing.blogspot.com soon so youre welcome to visit it.

This concludes the five things every newbie in the Internet marketing business should know in order to avoid failure and quitting too soon, because theres a lot of money to be earned on the Internet and with a little work and effort almost anyone can do it.

Get awsome, no B.S. internet marketing tips every week to propel your business into staggering heights and to finally be able to cash in those long awaited checks. Follow this link: web site marketing to receive a special bonus.

Internet E-Mail Marketing...Overview

by Clint Pollard

I can only think of two easy ways to make money on the Internet. One is building Adsense sites, and the other one is email marketing. I will be discussing email marketing today. I guess you could actually use both of these together, I havent done that yet, but I think it would work just fine. I think it would work better than using Adwords and Adsense together. I know there are some that can do that, but I never made more than a couple of dollars a month when I tried it.

I think I made a mistake when I proclaimed email marketing was easy, I should have said it was easier, I havent found anything on the Internet easy. The reason email marketing might be easier is because all you need to purchase is an auto responder and if you want to you can find a free auto responder. So its not only easier, its far less expensive than some ways of marketing on the Internet. Even though I said you could use a free auto responder, I dont recommend using one for many reasons, Most free auto responders come with other advertisements added in with the ads you send out and that will put a dent in your profits.

If you decide to take the free route, sign up at Click Bank and Commission Junction both of them are free to join. Look for a few good products to sell, Click Bank will have digital products and Commission Junction will have tangible products you can sell. Load your auto responder up with 7 to 10 messages about why your subscribers need the product you are marketing and add the address link that will take them to the product. CB and CJ will furnish you with a product link. The next thing you will want to do is find a good free ebook you can give away. Now all you need to do is find people that will be interested in your product.

You can do that by looking for forums that complement your product. If you are selling golf clubs you would want to find a golf forum, answer a few question people have posted and then put a small ad giving a way a free ebook, which should be related to your product, and your email address to your mailing list in your signature at the bottom of the post. Most forums will not allow ads in the body of the post, but many do allow an ad in the sig at the bottom. As soon as your list starts adding subscribers you will start selling products, the more subscribers the more products you sell.

I just offered you a simple example of how you can start an email marketing business on the Internet without spending one thin dime. It sounds simple, and it really does work just like I explained, but you will have a lot of learning to do, You will need to learn how to write good headlines for your auto responder messages, you will need to understand how to tweak words to turn subscribers into buyers. You will need to learn how to choose the top products to market, and many other tricks, but go ahead get your feet wet, it wont cost you anything to get start.

Good Luck

Tracking Traffic for Online Business Profits

by James Lowe

An important rule for home business Internet marketing, as well as for marketing any business, is to know how the product or means you are using for marketing is working.

From many training e-books and courses I have paid for and studied, from successful online marketers, virtually every one insists you must know the easy art of tracking traffic to profit. The number of new internet marketers is amazing that spend time and money on home business Internet marketing and do not track it. By tracking I mean that they do not keep track of how and why people inquire about or buy their products and services.

To have and know how to use this important knowledge is imperative to make the next step up in your online business. It is cheap and important. You need to know if the ad that you ran in the paper is the reason someone called for their technical help. You absolutely need to know if the speech that you delivered at the Chamber of Commerce luncheon last week might of been the impetus which lured that new customer.

To know is to increase your marketing effectiveness dramatically. This is the difference between profit and loss. Home business online Internet marketing is successful only if the money and time spent on the effort to bring in new customers and revenues does not exceed the profit made from that expense. Knowing this short formula is everything to your continued success and growth. A crucial part of determining Return on Investment (ROI) is knowing what Internet marketing tool works best, and what does not, for your home business. This is daily knowledge, that maintained, can make you more successful. Buying a home business Internet marketing analytical tool that tracks results makes good business sense for several reasons. One is to determine what users and potential customers like and do no like about your Web site.

Home business Internet marketing analysis software can intelligently inform you which pages were visited most frequently and the common exit and entry pages. This is critical information for your marketing program. Exit pages, for example, are important to know because if the page that a large number of consumers are exiting from is not the order confirmation page then that lets you know that something about that page is driving users away. You must find this customer and profit leak.

You want them to leave after completing orders. Leaving before ordering is a waste of your expenses and efforts. Knowing where you go wrong and correcting it is a crucial piece of Internet marketing information for your home business. Knowing the entry page gives you an important idea of which of your home business Internet marketing tactics and resources worked. This allows you strong information to go on to the next step in logical sequence. Most Internet monitoring tools let you know which browsers and operating systems your site users have. You can find out, for example, how many are Macs, how many have Windows systems, how many are Internet Explorer and how many use Netscape. You will be able to see if consumers are also trying to navigate to, 404 pages, which are those that no longer exist. These broken links need to be fixed quickly or the message to these users is that your home business is not efficient. This is Bad News Bears because you will have lost that potential sale or member. When you have these monitoring tools installed on your site you can also keep track of your all important conversions (consumer visits that result in a purchase) and determine the source of the visit as well as the path on your site that the buyer took to complete the sale. Home business Internet marketing and tracking tools are surprisingly low cost. Some of the best software and services are priced at a low $20 a month. Cheap tools plus good results will bring you good profits.

A Great Sales Copy Is The One Written To Your Dearest Friend

by Itay Paz

A great sales copy takes skill to write. It is also about knowing how to appeal to the reader. You need to make the reader believe you care about their success.

If you want to create a great sales copy you need more than just a flashy headline and a list of features. You need to emotionally appeal to the reader. The best way to do this is to write your salescopy as if you were talking to your closest friend. You can achieve this by following these tips:

Tip 1: Friends not strangers - Even though you dont personally know the readers you are marketing your product to, you should understand what they want. Remember, you are selling your service or product to a specific target market; people you should be able to relate to.

Therefore, after your catchy headline, address the reader as "Dear Friend" and begin telling them who you are, what you intend to sell them, what its about, and how it will benefit them. You want the reader to believe you know why you can help them, because you were and are just like them.

Tip 2: Know how you would like to be treated -Think about how you would like to be treated if you were a prospective customer and you were reading a sales letter. Answer the following questions and translate your responses into your sales page:

* What would you like to know about a product you are interested in? * How would you like to be treated and addressed? * What would make you feel valued? * What would earn your trust?

Tip 3: Valuable information - A great sales copy is one that is filled with relevant and concise information. It is important that you tell your readers why your product or service will benefit them, but it is just as important to let them know what your product is all about. The more details you can provide, the more it will show prospective clients you know your stuff.

The last thing you want is to lose the interest of your customers by looking like "another somebody" trying to sell "another something" online.

Tip 4: Review and seek opinions - After you write your salespage, read it over thoroughly and be critical. Think from the readers perspective, did you find what you wrote interesting? Cut out any fluff you may have added to puff up your product. Your goal is to keep the selling of your product or service clear and relevant as possible.

Thus, another excellent idea when you are reviewing your letter is to ask fellow colleagues or friends to take a look at it, so they can tell you what they think. Their advice and criticism can get you closer to achieving a good sales page.

Tip 5: Test and test again - Once you think you have created an impressive sales letter, publish it on the web and see what happens. Does the salescopy generate the number of customers you anticipated? If not, its time to look it over and make it more appealing to customers. Continue to test your letter until you get it right.

If you can emotionally appeal to your customers and keep them interested, not only have you generated a great sales copy, you have also established trust. Trust is difficult to earn on the internet, so dont expect that a flamboyant sales page is going to win over a customer.

Advertising Email Marketing Online

by Clint Pollard

Good Luck

Specialize for Internet Marketing Success

by Ben Franklin

Ever since the development of the internet, the internet marketing has continuously grown and it is today one of the most profitable businesses. It has many shapes and sizes, from people who make a small revenue to real giants who make millions and billions of dollars. If you want to get your hands on a piece of the big pie, you have to know that competition is fierce, but with a little bit of luck and a lot of commitment, it can be done.

First of all, what is internet marketing? Moreover, what is marketing itself? Many people when they hear the term "marketing" they think of MLM, and many companies think that marketing means training a few persons and throwing them into the street to sell their products. These are common mistakes, and marketing is much more than that.

In the decades before the internet, there was a product-oriented marketing strategy. Nowadays, the smart business persons have realized that an effective marketing strategy is a client-oriented one. Managing to satisfy your customers, thats the key to success. If you do that, the word about your products high quality will spread around an entire network of potential customers, because of peoples talkative nature.

Virtually anything and everything is being marketed nowadays on the internet, and will be to an ever more extent in the future. If you hear people who say that making money online is not possible, ignore them, because the internet is the way of the future. Millions of people go shopping on the internet, and this market is continuously growing.

I believe that the key of successful online money making is specialization. Given the great number of marketers available out there, the way to go is originality. I mean, letss say you want to open a bookstore. Now, if done in an offline conventional way, unless you have a very fat budget, youre lucky if you manage to penetrate your citys market.

Now, if you were to make an online bookstore, the possibilities are infinite. You have every internet surfer as a potential buyer and its your choice how you attract them. Still, if you are from England and the books are delivered from there, maybe a person from Japan feels more comfortable to go a few streets away than to buy from you. Thats where specialization comes in.

Lets say you like playing the guitar. If you open a bookstore with guitar books, a Japanese person would really consider buying from you and going through all the payment and delivery procedures. Sure, your targeted market narrows a lot, because not every person wants to learn how to play guitar, but its still a very, very large one. Moreover, the guitar playing internet surfers will be delighted about having a site with guitar books.

In your internet marketing strategies, you can also sell other merchants products. If we were to go back to that guitar example, you could make a very cool website about guitars. Then, after you manage to get a big number of visitors to your website, you can make affiliate associations with partners who sell guitar-related products. In other words, if your visitors click on your websites links to your partners and buy something from them, you get a commission.

There are actually countless internet marketing strategies and you can design some yourself. The truth is that making money online is possible. However, the most important aspect that Id like to underline is what I told you earlier: THE CUSTOMER.

The customer is the one that is going to bring you money and hes the one thats going to recommend you to others. You should always communicate with your clients and try to look at them as different individuals. If you manage to do that, your success is guaranteed.

How can you make them happy? Its not easy, and it really puts your marketing abilities to the test. Try to answer each and every e-mail, try to identify with everyones needs. If you cant do that on your own, hire someone to do it. I mean, if you have that many customers, you can afford hiring another person, right? And although this is a quite difficult task, it will bring you the desired results. With a client-oriented approach, your internet marketing will be a success!

The Top 5 Characteristics of Internet Millionaires

by Matt Bacak

If you want to join the growing numbers of internet millionaires, your best bet is to learn from the best. The trail to success has been blazed by thousands who have come before you, and their achievements can teach you how to make millions with your own internet business. These successful millionaires have many traits in common that you, too, can cultivate. Here are the top 5:

1. Internet millionaires dont play the "Blame Game." Those who are not internet millionaires have a tendency to blame someone else for problems and failures. Millionaires, on the other hand, take every difficulty, every failure as a lesson. They take advantage of every opportunity to learn something new - even from their own mistakes. They dont waste time dwelling on blame. They learn how to avoid the mistake the next time, and they keep moving forward.

2. Internet millionaires are decisive and action-oriented. They dont waste months mulling over possibilities and strategies. When they see an opportunity, they jump on it immediately, taking quick, decisive action. One such successful businessman has said that internet millionaires "go first." They make things happen. They certainly dont give someone else the chance to get the jump on them!

3. Internet millionaires trust their intuition and their gut. They trust themselves when making quick decisions. If something feels right, they go for it. Cyberspace is a fast-moving, ever-changing world, and you cant afford to spend a great deal of time thinking about a decision. If you do, someone will beat you to it, and the next thing you know, your idea will be old news.

4. The internet millionaire is single-focused. They focus on their business or niche. Thats not to say they dont focus on all of the aspects of their business. This can mean attending marketing seminars, selling their products on eBay, researching search engine traffic, writing articles, building their customer lists, and capitalizing on joint ventures and pay-per-click advertising. But all of these actions have the same goal and are focused on the same vision - expanding and building their core business.

The bankruptcy model, on the other hand, is someone who has a core business but is also a real estate investor or who sells 200 unrelated products on the internet. This kind of scattered action will only pull you away from your vision and your financial goals.

5. Internet millionaires are primarily marketing focused. A billionaire once said to me, "Matt, if you want to make a decent income, then you sell products and services. But if you want to become insanely rich, then you create and control markets." All of Microsofts top executives have a marketing background. Bill Gates was a marketing major at Harvard, and he knows marketing is what its all about.

It doesnt matter what kind of business you have, the key to your business is internet marketing. You can have a better product or service than the next guy, but if hes better at marketing, hell beat you every time. If you dont find hot and hungry people to come after your products and services, it doesnt matter if you have the best product since sliced bread. People have to know about it, and they have to want it!

How can you start today to cultivate these characteristics and add your name to the list of internet millionaires?

Matt Bacak, Entrepreneur Magazine e-Biz radio show host became a "#1 Best Selling Author" in just a few short hours and the co-author of an amazing new ebook that will teach you how to Retire From Your Job This Year and Still Make More Money Than the Average Medical Doctor... Building a Network Marketing Internet Home Business as Your Career?

by Elise Hong

As a career, network marketing in a home internet business, has far fewer problems than franchising and other off-line business opportunities simply because of the fact that you do not need employees. In network marketing, good assistance is there-if you seek it out.

Unlike other jobs, there are no promotions based on how well a boss like you. Networking is structured to reward ones won initiative and ambition to succeed. An important premise of networking is that everyone starts equal. You cant buy your way to a higher level. Your performance and only your performance determine how well you are rewarded. Remember, in network marketing especially in a home internet business, any advancement you make, every check you receive, every reward you get, every time you are singled out for recognition is squarely for what you have developed through personal and team effort.

With no doubts, the business environment had changed. Today, experts in common businesses design compensation plans to severely restrict the number of persons who can make $100,000 or more. And all too frequently the company that looks as if it will prosper doesnt, and its pension expectancy is shortened. Consumers now are more fickle minded. The only certainty is uncertainty-unless you control your economic future.

If you are to enjoy a large income, financial security, and the "good life", you can also do it by building your own network marketing internet home business now. It is more than suitable at any other time in history.

Building a home internet network marketing business, which is free enterprise in its purest form, carries no guarantees of bug income and rapid wealth accumulation. But it does have an amazing record of helping ordinary people earn residual incomes. Clearly, American business has entered a new era.

Home internet business via network marketing is the closest we have come to what the nations founders had in mind-which people who work hard, exercise personal leadership, serve other exceptionally well, and accept responsibility should be handsomely rewarded. But those who do no more than is required, worship the clock, avoid initiative, and expect Santa Claus, or a state lottery to provide them with a first-class standard of living are in for a shock.

Many of people go through their lives never discovering what they can do, how much they can earn, how good they really are. Building a home internet business gives a person the opportunity to use his or her abilities, talent energy, and personality in an economic experiment that will in time tell you what you are made of.

Keep in mind that we are discussing networking as a system and only, incidentally, particular network marketing programs. Remember, knowledge is not power, power is knowledge put to use and whoever acquires knowledge but does not practice it, is as one who ploughs but does not sow.

Elise is an internet business entrepreneur who is building a network marketing internet home business which guarantees to generate high income business opportunities. Moreover, she has all the support she wants which helps her strive to succeed in this program. Generate an Effective Sales Page

by Itay Paz

There are certain components that a sales page needs in order to be successful. You need to know how to use the right words to capture the attention of visitors. Anyone can create a sales page, but building one that is an effective marketing tool and encourages customers to buy your services or products takes know-how. However, this doesnt mean you need to enroll in a course if youve never created one before. You dont need a degree to write a good sales letter, you simply need to know how to connect the necessary pieces together to complete the puzzle. The following are the basic elements every sales page needs in order to have a shot at success: Headline - There are three parts to the headline of a sales page. The first headline is the pre-headline and should capture the attention of the reader. The main headline should reveal the biggest benefit of the product and should be in the largest font that appears on the page. The last headline is the post-headline and is meant to clarify the main one. Introduction - The introduction should be short and to the point. Its purpose is to appeal to the emotions of the reader, and show some of the product benefits. It should describe how the product will improve their life. Credibility - Potential clients need to know that they can trust you. It is difficult to gain trust when you are advertising online. The following is what will help you stay on the readers good side: * Testimonials - Add real customer testimonials to your sales page. Include their full name. This will help to make it look legitimate to the reader.* RealNumbers - When giving numbers or percentages, dont approximate, give actual numbers.* ContactInformation - Provide your full contact information to make yourself more real to the reader. Benefits of what you are selling - Using bullets, list the product benefits in order of precedence. You dont need to include every benefit, but you should list more than five to try and appeal to as many people as possible. Features - During this part of the sales page you need to tell the client what the product or service you are selling is all about. Be clear, concise and positive. Bonus - Every effective sales page offers a bonus. Great bonuses that you can include could be tutorials, quick start guides, etc. Regardless of the bonuses you offer, just make sure that you provide a value to show how much they are worth. Product Value - Explain why the price of what you are selling is a good deal. Compare it to similar products that are more costly to further emphasize the value. In this section of the sales page you will also want to provide the reader with a money-back guarantee. Ordering - Create an "Order Now" hyperlink, and explain the ordering process clearly, by providing step-by-step directions. In the ordering section also inform the reader the different ways they can pay. Conclusion - In a final paragraph summarize the important points of your sales page and make your last order request. Now that you know the main components required for creating a sales page, you may feel you still arent sure what to do. There is plenty of help available online. To give you an example, the following are two products that can assist you on your quest to create an effective sales page. Sales Letter Generator - This product was created by successful marketer Armand Morin, and is a software program that has been designed to create instant, successful sales letters every time. You simply need to put in the required information and the software works its magic to give you a winning sales page. You can learn more at SalesLetterGenerator.com Sales Page Builder - This is a product by Vincent Abrugar and is also copy writing software designed to generate excellent sales pages. You dont need any experience to use it, and the software is equipped with meta-tags for search engines. This means the sales letters it creates will increase the number of visitors to your site. Smart Internet Niche Marketing

by Adran Tan

Internet niche marketing is a field which can be lucrative for many as long as they study the industry first and make an honest effort to learn about the industry. Even those without a formal education can excel in Internet niche marketing as long as they understand the key elements of the industry. Such elements include selecting a niche carefully, organizing an effective marketing campaign and undergoing a continuing education process to stay aware of the trends in the industry.

*Select a Niche Carefully

One of the most important components of a smart Internet niche marketing campaign is to select a niche carefully. A niche is a specific subdivision of a broader category.

The owner of a niche website is usually quite knowledgeable about this particular topic and capable of creating quality content which is highly informative and accurate. Knowledge of a particular niche subject is one of the first factors a marketer should consider when selecting a niche.

Ideally the niche they select should be one for which they have an interest as well as a great deal of pre-existing knowledge.

The second factor to consider in selecting a niche is to look for a topic which has a large potential audience but not a great deal of other websites competing for the attention of these Internet users.

An exceptional niche website can enter a crowded market and excel but it does take considerably more effort because customers tend to be loyal and swaying them can be more difficult than winning the loyalty of new customers.

*Organize an Effective Internet Marketing Campaign

Once a niche is selected it is time to begin orchestrating an effecting Internet marketing campaign. This campaign may include commercial websites, informative websites, message boards, e-newsletters, ebooks, email campaigns or any combination of these components.

Websites will most likely be included as at least part of any Internet marketing campaign so developing keywords relevant to the niche and optimizing the websites for these keywords is important.

While optimizing the websites for particular keywords is important for achieving high search engine rankings, it is also imperative to carefully consider your target audience in the design of your website.

While high search engine rankings will be increased traffic flow to your website, a clever design which meets the needs and expectations of your target audience is also important. High search engine rankings will bring in traffic but once you have website visitors it is important to capture their attention.

*Stay Up to Date on Current Issues in the Industry

Finally, it is important to remember that Internet marketing is continually evolving and it is important for those who profit from the industry to stay up to date on the current trends in the industry.

This is important because if ground breaking trends which greatly benefit a niche website, smart Internet marketers realize they have to begin employing these trends to avoid being left behind in their niche.

One way to stay up to date on the latest trends is to participate in message boards focused on Internet marketing. Through these communities those in the industry voice their opinions on different marketing strategies.

Smart Internet marketers can use this information to formulate their own opinions and test strategies which are currently being discussed as new and innovative.

Why Choose Viral Marketing

by Gary Shaw

The Internet has modernized mans way of living. It has also affected how we do certain things including business tasks. Marketing has gone a long way and it is not being revolutionized by the Internet.

Internet viral marketing is a cost effective way to be able to reach a targeted audience and efficiently convey ones marketing message. Viral marketing outside the context of the Internet is usually connected with spreading a message through word-of-mouth. In the context of the Internet, the concept is the same, but the ways of doing it is diversified.

Internet viral marketing is similar to a virus. Viruses are notorious for being easily spread. This is the concept behind Internet viral marketing. Viruses, if not contained, can strike an epidemic. Internet viral marketing behaves like viruses, it aims at spreading a marketing message to people through other people.

The mere dynamism of the Internet makes it possible for viral marketing to do its job quite effectively. In the world of the Internet, viral marketing can be done in many ways. The whole structure of the Internet has been a tool which has been used by many to be able to make a statement or advertise a product.

We say that using Internet viral marketing, or viral marketing in general is one of the best, if not the best way of marketing a certain product or service. This article tries to lay down the reasons for the claim above.

Here are some reasons why viral marketing is the best way to market:

Its free!

You may not consider everything you just read to be crucial information about viral. But dont be surprised if you find yourself recalling and using this very information in the next few days.

This is probably the best reason why viral marketing is the best way to market. There are many ways to market a product or a service. One can utilize some of the old-school techniques such as the use of print media (banners, posters, flyers) or audio-visual tools. There is not much argument about the effectiveness of these methods, given the assumption that they are done with careful preparation and planning. However, these things cost money, a lot of money.

An actual example of the cost of these other marketing techniques can be seen in the pharmaceutical industry. Studies say that more than half of the cost that people are incurring for buying branded medicines is used to cover the expenses of marketing the products. This is a reality that reflects how marketing costs can take their toll on the product itself.

Viral marketing is a free way of spreading a marketing message. One can argue that it is not totally free (as claimed). However, the only costs for Internet viral marketing are the costs associated with Internet connection and some minor tools for getting on track. One can also do an economic valuation of the time spent for viral marketing, but every other marketing technique consumes time.

-Availability of techniques

There are many ways of doing viral marketing, especially through the Internet. Literally, there are hundred different ways of spreading a marketing message through the web. The most popular way is to use affiliate programs.

Affiliate programs gives incentives for webmasters to put up ones banner. The webmasters earn some profit whenever the banner is clicked by the visitors. One can also look into the option of giving away free stuff to other people to get their attention and be agents of the viral marketing endeavor. One can give away free web space, free articles, free newsletters, free software, free graphics, free screensavers, etc. This is the concept which was employed the developers of hotmail. If one can remember, hotmail became a craze when it was launched. People who signed up for the free email literally became marketing agents for hotmail. They carried the marketing message which was simply embedded into their email addresses.

Impact of viral marketing

Viral marketing, if done properly, will not only convey a marketing message, it will let the message stick to peoples minds. Creativeness comes into play when using viral marketing as a strategy. Everything starts with a bright idea and this idea is then put into operation with careful planning and execution.

Viral marketing is the way to go in these modern times of marketing. It is a very cost effective and efficient way of conveying a marketing message towards a target audience.

If youve picked some pointers about viral that you can put into action, then by all means, do so. You wont really be able to gain any benefits from your new knowledge if you dont use it.

Internet Marketing- Viral marketing

by Hituk Patel

The unfathomable and extremely rapid reach of the Internet makes it an appropriate tool for marketing. A little sinister and much more pervasive type is viral marketing, where self replicating strategies are applied for achieving the desired result.

The birth of such ad campaigns happened during the big bubble period of the Internet. Initially it was limited to attention grabbing URLs employing the mnemonic technique; in short these phrases could be memorized easily. This marketing technique is also cheaper than print media and much more pervasive. It is Internet based, and with the advent of newer technologies, deep penetration, ease of deployment and highly inexpensive operations, it is viable for most business classes.

Types of Internet Marketing: Broadly speaking Internet marketing can be divided into two main categories; the traditional and cloaked campaigns.

The traditional Internet marketing tools, from the nascent days of the net have undergone several coding transformations and are utilized for reaching Netizens. These include innocuous banner ads, the famous Google ad sense, various nagging pop-ups declaring various benefits, legitimate email campaigns run by various companies for their clients, phone and now SMS ads to some extent. Such a campaign can be effectively measured and priced accordingly; the revenue of Google is a testimony to that. It is also a point that the prohibitive cost of such campaigns became the nemesis of many sites during the big dotcom bubble.

The cloaked or better known by its popular sobriquet, Viral Marketing, is the poor mans success mantra for Internet based advertisement. As the term itself signifies, a virus self replicating property has been put to good use for advertising. It may not be a classical virus which just keeps emailing itself endlessly but a subtle message with a social cause or against a reprehensible act which results in mass emailing and lightening speed. Some of the typical means are:

Utilization of Social Networks: It has been a main legitimate means adopted by the many. The site may launch a promotional offer with certain incentives to those who forward it to their friends and acquaintances. The Readers Digest has utilized this technique of obtaining large databases using the snail mail. Then there is generic forwarding of interesting emails, with a catchy little ad in the end or a joke or a small flash movie embedded in it.

The Ad Virus: This is another form of virus disguised as an ad and replicates itself faster than any other means but with the innate risk of getting eliminated by the advanced anti virus programs on almost all the email networks. But even if it breaches just one percent, imagine the potential.

Blogs, SMS Text and MMS: The seamless integration of mobile telephony with the Internet has just expanded the reach of softcopy ad campaigns.

Developing an Internet Marketing Strategy

by Stephen Pierce

Copyright 2006 Stephen Pierce

How do I effectively develop an Internet marketing strategy? Every online business owner asks this question at some point in time. Unfortunately there is no universal answer to developing your Internet marketing strategy.

There are many different methods being used and new ones being tried every day. However, there are fundamentals that must be in place to develop a successful Internet marketing strategy.

- Internet marketing strategy one: Know your target market.

Dont guess, those who guess fail. Check your reality; dont think everyone needs what you are selling. Take the time and effort to develop a very specific outline of your preferred customer.

Research, ask questions, talk to people, get a firm understanding of who it is you are selling to and dont depend on "if you build it they will come". When you have a grasp of your target market youll be able to make accurate decisions about your business, not guesses based on guesses. Developing an Internet marketing strategy is like building the foundation of your business. When you analyze your target audience, youll want to find out the answers to questions such as the ones listed below.

What products/services do you currently buy? Why do you buy your current brand? What do you like about it? What could be improved? If you could recreate the product/service, how would you change it? What Web sites do you frequent? What ezines or newsletters do you receive via email? Sex? Age? Annual income? Occupation? Title? Are you a business owner?

Depending on what your business sells or offers, there should be more questions you can develop to further hone your target market and therefore you Internet marketing strategy.

How do you get this information? Talk to people in person or in groups. Conduct an online survey. Surveymonkey.com offers excellent survey tools free of charge. Make use of online forums. Put a forum on your site. Use a promotional give away to get information. Be creative and be real.

- Internet marketing strategy two: Understand why people stay on your site once they are there.

People who come to your site and leave seconds later are not customers. Your first page should load very quickly. Be brief and to the point. Verbosity is marketing death. Good design, good writing and white space are preferred. Use tables with cell padding and cell spacing to give your pages a quality feel. Hiring professionals can be money well spent.

- Internet marketing strategy three: Dont base your sales pitch on deception.

Make sure your links accurately describe what the viewer will get. It is a common con to have a link to a freebie or discount lead to nothing more than a hard sales pitch that the viewer wouldnt have chosen. If you do, youll likely lose the potential customer.

- Internet marketing strategy four: Always provide something for the viewer, even information can make them return again and again.

Your viewers like to get new, updated material. Therefore, make sure to provide ongoing quality information as often as possible.

- Internet marketing strategy five: Always research the methods you may want to use to advertise, i.e. link exchanges, click through programs, pay per click programs, advertising on search engines, banner ads, etc.

Make sure the methods you select reach your target market. Dont market your ego; market your product or service.

The Internet Marketing Numbers Game - a Myth?

by Peter Dobler

Copyright 2006 Peter Dobler

Internet marketing is a numbers game, we all know that. Or is it not? Maybe we are all mistaken and chasing a white elephant. Internet marketing is a highly competitive market. If you ever used a pay-per-click search engine you know what I mean. Internet marketing is a tough market. You deal with all kind of people. Just skim your inbox. Im sometimes amazed with the emails Im getting. "need money now help make money fast" this is an evergreen from my collection of email responses to my newsletter.

Does this sound familiar? Well, I think its sad and embarrassing. We are doing everything a so called internet marketing guru told us to do and the responses are mostly from confused and poor people who have no clue what we are actually talking about. Now ask yourself again, is it really a numbers game or should you completely change directions.

One of the marketing systems Im part of recently issued a statement that most of the new subscribers are from non English speaking countries. Keep in mind that the site is completely in English are geared towards English speaking audience. Just a few words of English wont do it either. They are selling the service with the slogan "find 3 and its free". This definitely leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Ok, now what? How can you make a living or even more than living with an online business? Ask 10 internet marketing gurus and you get 11 different answers. The only thing I can say is to approach an online business the same way as you do with a traditional business. With traditional businesses nobody expects a profit in the first year of a brand new business. But on the internet everybody gets frustrated if they dont make money in the first three days.

If everything would work like all the gurus make us believe there would be no more employment. The economy as we know it would seize to exist. Home businesses are by definition meant to be an income supplement. In some cases they become a full time income. On very rare occasions a home business can turn into a money maker. I heard of them, but I never actually met anybody that made it.

After reading all this you can understand that internet marketing is not always a pleasure. This is especially true if you are building a business with internet marketing. So, should you completely avoid internet marketing and focus on other business ventures? Well, it depends. If you cant handle the competition and the negative image of this market segment, dont do it.

On the other hand, if you are able to manage a small success in a highly competitive market, keep doing what youre doing. Chances are that some of your competitors are giving up and you can fill the void in no time. Make no mistake its a dog eat dog environment and never ever expect a helping hand from a fellow marketer. Unless you made it into the "chosen few league". The big guns are joining forces all the time to increase their market shares and profits. Hmm, this sounds like good old corporate America, doesnt it?

As I said, treat your online business the same way you would treat a traditional brick and mortar business. Because the same principals apply to both types of businesses. Anybody who thinks they could push their business into profitable returns by maxing out their credit cards are missing the boat big time. Yes I admit it; in the beginning I spend way too much money on useless stuff because a guru told me so. Then I turned around and tried to convince others to spend too much money on useless stuff. Again a guru told me to do so.

Luckily I was able to break out of this death spiral and forced myself to analyze the situation. First, do I really want to continue with this internet thing? Second, do I really want to spend hours after hours everyday to chase something that might not exist? Yes I really want this internet thing to work and No I dont want to chase wild goose. I needed to be smarter with my business decisions and more creative in my approaches. Ever since I changed the way Im doing things my business is doing better every day. Like the real world businesses, it takes time to develop.

The bottom line of this little story is; never trust anybodys advices blindly; dont do exactly what youve told to do without researching the consequences. Although the consequences are most likely an empty bank account and maxed out credit cards. It will devastate your financial future. Remember, be smart, play smart and play the internet marketing numbers right.

What Exactly Is Internet Marketing?

By: Neil Street

The internet, like every other field, has a language all its own. And when it comes to marketing on the internet, the labels proliferate rapidly. Can you tell “search engine marketing” from “search engine optimization?” How about “website promotion” from “online promotion?” Can you tell your Yahoo Yellow Pages from your Yahoo Local? Or “pay-per-click,” from “pay for performance,” not forgetting “paid inclusion?” Is it any wonder people are confused? Adding to the confusion, many of these phrases are shortened to acronyms (SEO, PPC, SEM, to name a few). Next week, at a seminar for professional marketers, participants will wrestle with the issue of SEM for SMEs. This rapidly growing field is in dire need of simplification and organization. As a starting point, it would be good to just have a name for all of it. And that’s where the term “internet marketing” comes in.

Consider this: twice in the past week I have seen an online press release turn into an offline publicity placement. In the first instance, an online press release about an antiques-related website was picked up by a leading consumer magazine, who wanted to use images from the client’s website in an upcoming article. Full credit, of course, goes to the client and their website. In the second instance, an online press release about marketing was picked up by a writer for an offline business magazine. The writer wants to interview the creator of the press release for an article about the migration of local print advertising onto the internet. I especially love the irony of the second one – an online release is picked up by an offline magazine for a story about how advertising is moving from the offline to the online space.

But are these example of traditional P.R? Or is it online P.R? Perhaps it’s website promotion? The answer, of course, is that in this amazing new world of interconnectivity, a P.R. campaign can be any of these things, often more than one thing, and it can frequently morph into something unexpected. That’s the beauty of the internet. And because the internet is the cause of this phenomenon, the most obvious choice for an umbrella term, under which a growing variety of promtional techniques can be organized, is “internet marketing”.

The term “internet marketing” is still somewhat slippery, and may mean different things to different people. But as an umbrella phrase it is very useful because it’s so comprehensive. It is clear that a broad new discipline is emerging, one which crosses media lines in many directions. As this broad discipline emerges, its various subsets - “search engine optimization,” for example, or the rather ambiguous “search engine marketing” - should be seen as tools within the larger framework, components to be utilized, with or without other components, depending on the marketing needs of each project.

A working definition is that internet marketing is any kind of marketing that begins on the internet and promotes something. (Usually it will promote a website, as a destination in itself or a gateway to further interaction, but it doesn’t have to follow that route.) And of course, just because a promotion begins on the internet, it doesn’t mean it will end there. Under the umbrella term “internet marketing,” exists a wide array of options: search engine optimization, pay-per-click, paid-inclusion, search engine submissions, directory submissions, link campaigns, online press releases, website copywriting, internet yellow pages, email campaigns, newsletters and ezines, and recently, blogging and RSS feeds. The list is by no means exhaustive. These promotional methods all fit under the broad umbrella term, internet marketing.

How does this help a typical marketer? To illustrate, let’s use the case of a client whose website is languishing on the web – it needs more traffic. It’s the most common request to our internet marketing company, SmallBusinessOnline.net. Should the website owner go directly to a search engine optimization specialist? Not necessarily. Search engine optimization may not be the answer at all. The client is better served by having the project assessed by a company with a broad approach to internet marketing, rather than to a niche specialist. The work may involve an email campaign, or development of a newsletter, or an RSS solution, or an IYP ad, or whatever the solution may be – and frequently the solution involves a combination of activities. It all depends on the the nature of the website, and how that site may best be marketed. Every client is unique, and every project has a unique solution. This is not to say that the search engine optimization specialist is irrrelevant. Far from it. But the initial assessment is best made from the broadest perspective.

Today, the field of internet marketing is a crazy patchwork quilt of competing claims and shrill promises. This is not good for anybody. As the internet matures, a true framework will emerge giving structure and definition to the new discipline of internet marketing. This will help to build the trust of advertisers, and the process will eventually weed out the fly-by-night outfits who are muddying the waters today. In the end, for business and consumers alike, that’s a very good thing.

Internet Marketing Hell - Are You Ready?

by Paulo Vinagre

If yourre planning to start youre own internet marketing business and for the sake of future income and sanity, please read carefully and make a wise and pondered decision about your actions. Either way, its on your action decisions that your business will rely on and theres no way to avoid it.

You might have read hundreds of reports and bought a hundred more internet marketing related ebooks, implemented some of the strategies outlined, advertised your business in Adwords and created several blogs for search engine sake, but no income as ever come to you, right? "I must be doing something wrong...", you think, and you continue to search for the next bigtime, never before seen guru promise of millions overnight.

Well, to be honest, you are doing something wrong! But its not due to lack of information, or even bad information, its due to a missing link - a proper, well defined and goal oriented strategy.

Let me give you a short example. Youve read and know about the affiliate marketing business and you want to give it a shot to make some money with other people products. You get an affiliate link at Clickbank, post it in your site or blog, write a few reviews about it, an article to submit to several directories and create a pay-per-click campaign. You wait a few days and suprise... nothing happens, no money rolling in. At best a couple of sales... Why? Lets see:

a. Do you have a constant flow of traffic to your offer? If not, you should put in place a system to drive traffic to it.

b. Assuming youre promoting an in demand product, have you made the necessary steps that allows you to contact the people who saw your offer? This is a vital step in affiliate marketing and it should be one of your main concerns.

c. Do you outsource some of your tasks or do it all by yourself? Remember, you can only make as much as time allows it, if you outsource some tasks, youll have more of it to improve your business.

d. Are you trying to learn everything there is about internet marketing opposed to focus on creating income systems? Probably, what you already know is more than enough to make two fortunes and again, there are some tasks you can outsource and you will never be able to do it all by yourself in time.

e. Are you targeting the right customers? If you have a computer related site and you put up an offer on a golf clubs discount, youll hardly see any sales.

My main point is to make you see that you might already have the right information to start your own home based business but just do not know how to make it work. And it really is not that difficult to make some good money. You just have to know the right steps to implement in your business. Theres a lot more to make an internet marketing business function properly and its impossible to give you a detailed strategy and plan in this article, this is just to give you an heads up in order for you to make the right decisions when starting out and not to waste time, and money, in actions that will not give you any return, only frustration.

Internet Marketing Tip #1 Keywords The text on your website is very important, even more so than pictures and animations, because when potential customers are looking for information on your product they search with words, or text, to find your information. So, if you have a lot of text on your web page that adequately uses keywords in a variety of ways that pertain to your business, when someone searches a search engine your web page will be returned as a result. Also, the search engines rank your website partially on the keywords you utilize, so if you want to the major search engines to work for you then you need to give them what they are looking for.

Internet Marketing Tip #2 Links Another piece of the search engine puzzle involves links, which are very important to internet marketing. Search engines not only look for keywords, but they also search the Internet for links. So, the more links you have on the Web that point to your website the higher you will be ranked by the search engines. If your web page is ranked higher, you will receive more traffic which ultimately increases your sales.

Internet Marketing Tip #3 No Frames Dont forget that Internet marketing is not just getting your name out there; it is also providing a quality product for customers. So, you need to be sure you have a good web page that contributes to easy navigation and purchasing. Because of this, you need to be sure not to use frames. As a whole, web surfers do not like frames and in addition to this neither do the search engines. If you are using frames then you should change immediately in order to increase your rankings with the search engines and make your customers enjoy visiting your website.

There are many ways you can participate in Internet marketing while working from home and really promote your business. Kindergarten Dropout Makes A Huge Fortune In Internet Marketing

by Titus Hoskins

Hyperboles abound in Internet Marketing. Myth has its own area code. Hype has its own country. And BS, its own universe.

Anyone desiring to enter this perilous terrain should proceed with caution. Wearing a full body hype-resistant armor is strongly recommended. If thats not available, growing a second layer of thick skin is advisable.

For the beginning marketer, novice webmaster or the Internet hobbyist who just wants to earn a little extra income, all the hype can be a little overwhelming. All the rhetoric may prove totally mind boggling. Deadly even.

Who to believe? What to believe?

Its a virtual mine field and you only have your cursor for a guide. It can be down right scary if youre not prudent with your checkbook or your morals you can be misled, swindled, and beguiled before you even turn on your computer.

Separating fact from fiction requires a considerable skill, usually reserved for the judgments of Solomon.

Where to begin? Where to start?

This is where most would-be Internet Marketers go wrong from the get-go. They start out with the wrong mind-set. They want a product/software/guru/guardian angel to come and show them what to do. They want everything to magically come to them. As if success in Internet Marketing, because it has to do with computers, can be magically produced or brought about with the right software program or the latest gizmo.

They want everything done for them.

Well, it doesnt work that way. Sure you can buy the latest info- product or the latest software program and some of these will even work for awhile or produce income but youre still not getting off on the right track. Youre not setting the right foundation.

First, you have to Learn how to Learn!

Learn how to teach yourself. Learn how you can use the vast resources of the Net to teach yourself all you need to know about Internet Marketing. Acquire the necessary skills to become self-taught.

The journey may take a little longer, but you will learn more along the way and you will develop a greater self-reliance. In the end, its you who will have to build that web site, provide the content, do the SEO work, do the marketing...so get your Internet Business grounded with the right foundation. Place yourself as the cornerstone of anything you wish to build.

The Internet gladly gives up its secrets. Search them out. Find them. Study them. Its the best training ground ever created. The wealth of information is truly astounding. The collective intelligence of a whole world...

Ok, so the hyperbole meter is rising again, but you get the picture.

Next time youre tempted, dont drool over the latest Gurus How Tos...Kindergarten Dropout Makes a Bundle Working Only 40 Seconds on the Internet Each Day, How I Turned Google Into My Own Personal Cash Slave, My Secrets Are Worth 20 Million a Month to Me, I Just Cant Wait to Tell You Everything!

Dont be fooled by the slick copy writing, dont be tempted to reach for that plastic wand.

Take a smarter approach. Use your brain. Use your God Given Intelligence. Dont buy the latest offerings from the next big hot marketing guru.

Instead, do this.

If a marketing expert is making $15,000 a month with Google Adsense, dont automatically go out and buy his/her book of secrets. Use your head - if you have the time, seek out their sites and pick them apart. Study the lay-out, study the design, study the keywords. Learn everything you can, and apply it to your own web site or marketing. The Internet gives up its secrets, nature of the beast!

Next.

Dont cultivate a need for the latest marketing tell-all info-product, but rather cultivate a relationship with the source. Seek out the experts. Find one or two in the areas of Internet Marketing you need help with: SEO, Mini Sites, Affiliate Marketing, List Building, Google Adsense/Adwords, Copywriting, etc.

Get to know the marketer whos selling the product, join his/her affiliate program, sign up to their opt-in newsletter, ask them questions in the online forums. Be nice, be curious, be helpful to them - whether its selling their products, bringing in more affiliates or just being of assistance if asked for. Always remember its a two way street and must be beneficial to both parties, so give as well as receive.

Build relationships and you will build a foundation of knowledge that you can draw from again and again. Develop these relationships with a diverse group of marketing experts in the areas of interest thats vital to your Internet Marketing and you will be at the right starting point.

Nurture these relationships, grow them, watch them bloom and your own marketing results will harvest the rewards.

All you really have to do is Learn How To Learn. Teach yourself and you will never have to go back to Kindergarten again.

Or buy another marketing info-product!
